Campus life gives the tightly knit student body the chance to meet one another while participating in one or more of Earlham's more than 60 student organizations. High in ranking with such publications as U.S. News, Earlham is particularly noted for its graduate success rate, with most of its graduates going on to the grad school of their choice. Given these rankings and the impressive performance of its students, Earlham is selective in its admissions process and more than 25% of its admitted students are in the top 10% of their graduating high school class. Admissions requirements include submission of transcripts, recommendation letters and an essay of intent. SAT or ACT scores are optional. Approximately 90% of Earlham students receive some form of financial aid. Earlham is sure to award as much scholarship and grant money as possible before awarding loans and work-study funds. Students must fill out a FAFSA to be considered for aid.
