As a Teacher, you'll:

* Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
* Help maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
* Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children in your care.
* Communicate and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center's success.
* Complete extensive training on childcare and child development topics.

We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:

* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience with children preferred but not required, we will train Assistant Teachers!
* The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience
* Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans (Lead Positions)
* CDA or coursework in Early Childhood Education or related field (Lead Positions)
* Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children

Role Responsibilities:

• Create a welcoming, engaging classroom space for young children to learn, play and grow
• Use a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications:

• At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred
• High School Diploma/GED required. College ECE coursework highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
• Must meet state specific guidelines for the role.

We are looking for weekend coaches in the Lakeview and Lincoln Park Neighborhood of Chicago . We are looking for coaches for weekend morning 9 am - 1 pm and weekday afternoons 3 pm - 5 pm. This is a part-time positions with coaches getting between 10 - 15 hours a week, depending on their availability.

Super Soccer Stars offers coaches competitive pay, flexible schedules, on the job training, cooperate sponsored education grants and bonus incentives. Compensation starts at $25/hour and rates increase up to $35/hour.

Starting on the Upper West side of New York City over 20 years ago, Super Soccer Stars has grown to 20,000 children a week program in: New York, California, Boston, Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Texas and Washington, DC. At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment.

Day-to-day Roles and Responsibilities:

Teach an energetic and motivating class, connect and challenge each child, and help them to accomplish motor development goals and inspire a love of movement and healthy habits in in an organized, structure, and fun manner.

Effectively and clearly communicate issues to the office and provide solutions.

Showing up on time to class.

Equipment set-up and break-down.

Provide hands-on individual and group attention to children.

Adhere's to all COVID-19 safety policies

Requirements

Sat or Sunday mornings (8 am - 1 pm)

Weekdays between 3 pm - 5 pm

Punctual, willing to learn and accept feedback.

Prior experience working with children.

Must be motivated, energetic, patient, and attentive.

Hands-on, dynamic, and outgoing.
