Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Chief Behavioral Health Officer, the Administrative Director is an agent of change who oversees the overall clinical quality and operations for the Department of Behavioral Health our South End location, which includes the Integrated Behavioral health, Outpatient therapy, School-based services, specialty, and Telehealth delivered to ages 6+ at all practice locations. The Administrative Director has direct supervisory oversight of NeighborHealth's South End Behavioral Health services and for the Center of Excellence training team, including the Program Director. This role focuses on enhancing service delivery, workforce development, quality improvement, positive culture, and regulatory compliance. This role involves identifying business development opportunities, providing leadership to clinical and administrative teams, managing budgets, and fostering partnerships with community organizations to improve patient care and access to services.
1.Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
2.Assist in implementing and evaluating medical standards, updating protocols, policies, procedures, and patient education materials in collaboration with the Medical Director(s).
3.Facilitates in collaboration with the BH Leadership Team EPIC support, training and assistance to BH team and functions as the liaison to the IT Epic training team as indicated.
4.In collaboration with the BH Medical Director, designs and implements the BHC and Psychiatric provider orientation and training program for both sites.
5.Actively participates in emergency management, regulatory compliance and patient safety programs as a content expert along with other BH leaders for behavioral health-related issues.
6.As a member of the BH Project Team works closely with the BH Leadership team and project managers to design, formally request, implement and execute each in project with a high degree of integrity and efficiency.
17.Specific to NeighborHealth South End BH, coordinates BH system of care design in collaboration with multidisciplinary departments to ensure clinical delivery of services remains relevant and useful to the patient population served, including school-based services, IBH, Specialty, and all other clinical programs assigned.
18.Provides programmatic management and oversight of access and utilization data to the entire integrated Care Team while holding teams accountable for performance outcomes.
19. Oversees the development, implementation and sustainability of a Youth Behavioral Health service line, including prevention, intervention, and wrap around services.
10.Assists in BH Department fiscal management: participation in the preparation and monitoring of the departmental budget; BHC productivity/utilization review, and documentation/coding/billing practices and improvements.
11.Provides high quality clinical supervision to assigned BHCs and students.
12.With the BH leadership team members shares on-call responsibilities and provides clinical consultation to BHCs on call as well as to medical colleagues in the management of psychiatric emergencies, urgent clinical matters and highly complex patients.
13.Responds to, addresses and resolves, as indicated patient and provider complaints in a timely manner, seeking support and consultation as needed.
14.Meets the clinical requirements as delineated in the BHC job description and develops and maintains a practice at an agreed upon percentage of FTE which is subject to modification up or down depending on the evolving demands of the role.
15.Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand services and enhance market presence.
16.Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to promote collaboration and resource sharing.
17.Provide strong leadership and supervision to clinical and administrative teams, fostering a collaborative environment by driving high performing and high positive teamwork.

Position Summary:
Position Summary Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the VP/Chief Behavioral Health Officer will be responsible for the Behavioral Health Department's (BH) strategic planning process and major strategic initiatives, and for setting the BH standards and model of care for and oversight of all service lines across the BH continuum of care for both campuses as well as for each BH specialty service and discipline, including psychiatry. Also included among the VP/Chief Behavioral Health Officer's scope of responsibilities is the provision of support for setting the standards and model of care for the Recovery Services Program and the evolving integration of traditional and non-traditional healing art practices program that live under the BH Departmental umbrella.
Must be licensed at the independent level in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a BH Clinician or board certified in Psychiatry.
In collaboration with senior management and clinical leaders, this position will participate in 1) immediate and long range organizational strategic planning; 2) performance improvement planning and establishment of outcome measurements; 3) and, through effective management standards, assuring service delivery in accordance with established standards and the requirements of all stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
1. Job Components.
Up to 8 weekly clinical hours (10 payroll hours) will be spent providing direct BH care with clinical and administrative follow-up for a panel of patients.

3. Provide oversight of assigned staff, through direct supervision, consultation, and management practices:
Participate in recruitment, hiring, and training of diverse management staff. Mentor, supervise, and develop assigned management staff to further responsibilities and career development opportunities. Conduct performance reviews according to established guidelines. Collaborate with Administrative Directors, Directors, and Managers to ensure staff's competencies through the development of appropriate educational opportunities and requirements. In collaboration with Administrative Directors and the senior team, audit staff clinical practices, and develop and implement systems for improvement. Direct Administrative Directors, Directors, and Managers in the preparation, completion and monthly monitoring of departmental budgets and capital requests; act as liaison between Administrative Director and senior team members, including the Chief Financial Officer Direct Administrative Directors, Directors, and Managers in the continual development of workflows that provide access to BH care on the same day symptoms are endorsed and in the efficient matching of demand for services with existing capacity to eliminate whenever possible referral work queues of patients awaiting BH care.
4. Develop and implement systems that support the efficient delivery of services.
Oversee and monitor the flow of patient activity and services especially in areas targeted for redesign to promote barrier free, same day (whenever possible) patient access and volume. Collaborate with the senior management team in the development and implementation of new programs and services consistent with organizational goals and strategic plans. Promote and support the organization's comprehensive customer satisfaction and feedback program through the development of training programs and systems to monitor progress and compliance. Oversee departmental performance/quality improvement projects including the establishment of outcome measurements and reporting tools. Effectively collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership in the design, re-design, and delivery of care. Facilitate and foster collaborative relationships among NeighborHealth departments. Facilitate and foster collaborative relationships with community agencies and other external partners that support and share NeighborHealth's mission and strategic priorities. In collaboration with VP of Human Resources and management team promote and support an environment that promotes cultural humility through staff training, establishment of standards, and development of services, programs and workflows designed to enhance the delivery of culturally appropriate services. Assist with marketing efforts to increase demand for services. In collaboration with the senior management team, assist in the development and implementation of the patient-centered medical home, ACO, the advancement of BH Population Health and other capitated programs/initiatives. Oversee the development and operations of community health and community enrichment initiatives.
5. Provide clear leadership in support of superb operational integrity across the organization, and as assigned.
Collaborate with administrative and clinical leaders to develop, implement, and revise policies, procedures, and practices to improve service delivery, patient safety, and infection control that meet the requirements of all regulatory agencies including MA Department of Public Health, HRSA, Joint Commission, and NCQA. Participate in committees and meetings charged with developing goals, vision, and strategic plans for the organization. Effectively communicate and promote the organization's vision and strategic plan. 6. Provide leadership across various Department-specific projects and responsibilities.
For all BH Department service lines, including the integration of indigenous healing practices across a comprehensive continuum of care Develops, disseminates and promulgates the BH 5-year strategic plan in conjunction with the BH leadership team Oversees the BH “Center of Excellence” for the training of BH students, interns and residents to specifically deliver evidence-based care to underserved communities of color Provide organizational assistance and expert consultation in support of the management of complex, difficult, psychiatrically impaired or threatening patients, DV, Child or elder abuse reporting, special risk management clinical reviews, etc. BH and Other Strategic Initiatives in conjunction with the EBNHC 5-year Strategic Plan Student Wellness Center Recovery Services Provides teaching, consultation, participates in community engagements and media events featuring BH Oversees the safe management of the BH on call service and participates in the coverage rotation Function as the “resident expert,” patient advocate and top proponent of the Integrated Care, BH Specialty, Psychiatric Consultation and Harm Reduction models of care, providing an advisory and training presence as needed.
7. Clinical Care:
A practicing Psychiatrist or BH clinician, the CBHO provides direct clinical care in fulfillment of the duties and responsibilities delineated in the NeighborHealth Behavioral Health Clinician job description and in so doing functions as a role model for excellent, barrier free care delivery.
In support of clinical excellence provides expert supervision and consultation.
8. Promote a sense of “teamwork” through demonstration of self-direction and self-motivation. Solve problems independently or knows when to seek consultation.

The Connecticut Children's Security Officer is responsible for assisting in the coordination of activities for the day-to-day security operations at all Connecticut Children's Medical Center affiliated locations as designated by the Security Manager, including but not limited to: the main hospital campus located at 282 Washington Street, Primary Care Facility, Connecticut Children's Medical Center School, as well as other off-site locations. Work with other Security Officers as a team providing prompt response to calls for security assistance. The Security Officer will take a proactive role in addressing any situation related to the safety and security of patients, students, staff and visitors while making appropriate notifications to the Security Manager, Executive Management Team personnel and local law enforcement. Ensures a high quality of service is provided by the Security department, responds to and provides guidance to other security personnel, hospital/school staff and visitors during emergency situations. Assists with patient watches and restraints; ensures that all aspects of security activities within the institution are adhered to. Ensures that the safety and security of patients, students, staff, visitors and property are maintained through the vigilant adherence to policies and controls in a calm and professional manner.
Responsibilities

Provides a safe environment by conducting, assisting and monitoring the use of a metal detecting wand, property searches and patient restraints.
Fosters a cooperative and positive work environment and works with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.

Provides service and care to patients of all ages. Notifies personnel as necessary when patients not regularly served (immobilized patients, men, etc.) are present and seeks assistance from individuals with the knowledge of the specialized needs of such patients.
Prepares patient for exams as required and insures patient comfort and modesty at all times.
Sets up equipment and uses proper technique and exposure factors as necessary and required.
Notifies Radiology Director if there is a problem with Breast Imaging equipment and assists with requesting service if needed
Follows all radiation safety procedures to ensure patient is not compromised as it relates to radiation safety. Understands all radiation safety issues through annual compliance with radiation safety briefing and or seminars. Completes procedures in a timely fashion while providing quality mammography images for Radiology and outside departments. Makes quality improvements to mammographic images as required and as necessary.
Monitors patient conditions. If/when conditions warrant that assistance may be required, takes actions to facilitate the best course of action to include: nursing involvement, other assistance, further monitoring and/or other patient focused solutions.
Works with the Radiology Director as necessary to ensure the follow-up studies are completed and dictated in a timely manner, proper billing and supply codes are entered in the RIS, guidelines for charging are followed and communicated to staff, PACS database is clean and accurate and RIS training for new staff.
Ensures that all required documentation is properly performed to include but not limited to any/all of the following: proper filling out of requisitions; proper procedures completion related to all procedures performed; proper recording of any required hospital/department and or insurance of managed care requirements for proper recording and or billing of Breast Imaging Procedures; ensures that staff properly enters ICD-10 codes; and ensures that staff properly enters all patient demographics.
Responsible for training mammography and ultrasound techs on how to resolve cases
Handles patient complaints, performs service recovery and ensures patient satisfaction at all times.
Handles urgent add on requests for services professionally and appropriately at all times.
Keeps staff discussions around patients to a minimum and ensures that patients are not subjected to departmental conversations and any inappropriate behavior.
Communicates with patients, visitors, physicians, fellow employees and other staff in a courteous, professional, friendly and understanding way. Treats patients and fellow staff with dignity and respect and reports any/all problems to Radiology Director.
Responsible for Breast Imaging supply management.
Leads and maintains the quality assurance program, enacted by the FDA, in conjunction with the Radiology Director and Section Chief of Breast Imaging.
Assists in the development of and participates in departments Quality Assurance program to ensure that the department standards are set forth by Section Chief of Breast Imaging and Radiology Director are adhered to and updates as necessary.

Position Summary:
Working in close partnership with a provider(s), the medical assistant assists and directs care of patients in a practice. Their primary function is to manage efficient patient flow and to be available to assist providers as needed. Position Summary:
The primary function of the Recovery Services (RS) Senior Clinician position is to provide a combination of quality direct clinical care services to our patients served and supervision of our team of clinical staff. Baby Café is a welcoming, supportive drop-in center where pregnant and breastfeeding parents receive expert lactation care in a relaxed, community-based setting. Provide evidence-based Collaborative Drug Therapy Management services in the primary care setting through collaborative practice agreements and practice specific protocols that will address the identified needs of the patient
Assess and monitor the drug therapy needs of patients through consultations, patient education, and clinical laboratory monitoring
Assess patients for medication adherence barriers and develop a plan to maximize patient's medication success through improving or maintaining adherence to medications
Provide access to immunizations to patients based on ACIP recommendations and health center standing orders
Serve as expert in providing drug information services including optimal dosing, contraindications, interactions, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics
Participate in the development of organization-wide drug therapy management materials, tools, and workflows
Develop and deliver provider drug education seminars to promote safe, effective, and financially responsible prescribing
Assist in the development and execution of clinical pharmacy programs and initiatives
Optimize medication use through participation in medication related committees, workgroups, and quality improvement initiatives
May serve as preceptor for pharmacy students
Promote effective 340B processes and utilization

Position Summary:
The Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) clinician provides comprehensive behavioral health services to care for patients with medical and behavioral issues in the primary care environment. Connect patients with appropriate resources and services, both within and outside of the primary care setting.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Masters in Psychology (MA), Masters in Education (Counseling-MEd.), or MSW program.

Minimum of 2 years relevant post-graduate experience, preferably in a community health, mental health or hospital setting.
Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.
Ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessments of mental and behavioral conditions.
Comfortable with the pace of primary care and emergency care, within with an interdisciplinary team.

Under the direction of the Medical Director of SE Primary Care, the Internal Medicine physician will perform the following functions:
Job Responsibilities
Provide Primary Care medical services to patients from birth to geriatrics at the Health Center in accordance with the usual and customary appointment schedule. Examine, diagnose and treat patients. Educational Requirements
The minimum education a Internal Medicine physician must posses is a Doctor of Medicine degree, and if trained abroad, an ECFMG certificate stating that the foreign physician has passed the examinations appropriate for medical licensure. These requirements are necessary for participation in accredited residency training programs and for licensure by the Board of Registration in Medicine in Massachusetts. In addition, the physician should have successfully completed an internship and residency program within the United States. All physicians must be Board Certified.

Position Summary:
As a Per Diem Medical Assistant, you will work closely with providers to assist in the care of patients within a practice. Your primary role is to ensure efficient patient flow and provide support to providers as needed. Strong oral, listening, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in computer use.
