Duties and Responsibilities:
Instruct students, lecture, develop activities allowing for and demonstrating hands-on skill acquisition, including field trips and guest lecturers

Minimum Qualifications:
The formal education equivalent of a bachelor's degree
Must hold, or be qualified to obtain upon hiring, a teaching license by the Arkansas Department of Education in area being taught, in accordance with ACA 6-17-401, 6-17-402, and 6-17-403
Must be a licensed teacher in the area taught and/or have a Career & Tech Ed permit
Must be comfortable teaching people with disabilities

Job Description of the Director of Workforce Development: The Director of Workforce Development leads strategic planning, implementation, and coordination of workforce development initiatives across the West Central Arkansas region of the state. This position serves as the primary liaison between employers, educational institutions, community organizations, economic development entities, and government agencies to address labor market needs and build a skilled workforce pipeline. The position also requires administrative, programmatic and service obligations needed for the delivery of Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funds allocated to the West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area, workforce development initiatives, and related programs.
Essential Job Functions:
Serves as Administrator for the West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Board.
Complies with the needs and goals of the Local Workforce Development Plan.
Identifies appropriate individuals to support West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Board committees.
Develops, implements, and modifies department policies and procedures as directed by the Workforce Board, the Planning and Development District, the State of Arkansas, and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Information Systems Technicians manage communication operations and networks aboard Navy vessels, and play a vital role in everything from electronic mail systems to special intelligence and information warfare systems. There are two types of Information Systems Technicians depending on whether you choose to serve on ships or submarines. Responsibilities may include:
INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN (IT)
Establishing, monitoring and maintaining radio frequency communication systems
Operating and maintaining global satellite telecommunications systems
Transmitting, receiving and storing all incoming and outgoing messages
Managing and coordinating information systems security across platforms and fleets
Designing, installing and operating wide-area-networks, computer systems and associated devices
Performing network system administration, maintenance and training and manage network security
Installing applications, troubleshooting user problems and providing training and assistance with use of computer hardware and software
Writing programs to collect and distribute data for a variety of applications
Ensuring the proper security and handling of communications materials, systems and equipment
Performing diagnostics and data recovery operations and maintaining logs
INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN SUBMARINES (ITS)

Work Environment
As an IT, you are primarily stationed aboard ships at sea, while you'll serve aboard submarines as an ITS. You will also receive shore assignments. Your typical work environment will be a clean, climate-controlled indoor space used to house electronic equipment or computers.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), both ITS and ITs report for specialized training, including:
Class A Technical School (24 weeks) in Pensacola, FL (for ITs) or Groton, CT (for ITSs) for training on Microsoft, Cisco and Oracle computer software and hardware fundamentals, automatic data processing, security, and system theory and operation.
After A School, Information Systems Technician Submarines (ITS) will also attend submarine training:
Basic Enlisted Submarine School (8 weeks) in Groton, CT, for training in basic submarine systems. Note that this training is only for Information Systems Technician Submarines (ITS).
After completing training, ITs and ITSs will receive their first assignments. ITs may be assigned to a ship, communication station or shore station, while ITSs may be assigned to a submarine, communication station or shore station. Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.
Advanced Training
Advanced training as an Information Systems Technician may be available during later stages of your career. For those with further leadership aspirations and a college degree, Officer roles may be available, providing opportunities to lead and train others.
Post-Service Opportunities
Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian world, such as IT and network support, computer programming, web development, and information security.
Education Opportunities
Beyond offering access to professional credentials and certifications, Navy technical and operational training as an Information Systems Technician can translate to credit hours toward a bachelor's or associate degree through the American Council on Education.
You may also continue your education through undergraduate degree opportunities like the Navy College Program and Tuition Assistance and the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
Qualifications & Requirements
A high-school diploma or equivalent is required to become an Enlisted Sailor and an Information Systems Technician.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role, you must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a Top Secret security clearance, which requires a background investigation. Immediate family members must also be U.S. citizens.
IT and ITS applicants should have good arithmetic, writing and speaking skills, and should be able to use and understand computers. You should also be able to perform detailed work, keep accurate records and work well with others as part of a team. Important physical attributes include good manual dexterity and physical strength.
ITS applicants must be willing to serve aboard submarines.
General qualifications may vary depending upon whether you're currently serving , whether you've served before or whether you've never served before .
Part-Time Opportunities
Serving part-time as a Navy Reserve Sailor, your duties will be carried out during your scheduled drilling and training periods. During monthly drilling, Information Systems Technicians in the Navy Reserve typically work at a location close to their homes.
For annual training, you may serve anywhere in the world, including locations in the U.S., at bases overseas, or in areas where humanitarian needs are great.

Most of what you do in the Navy Reserve is considered training. The basic Navy Reserve commitment involves training a minimum of one weekend a month (referred to as drilling) and two weeks a year (referred to as Annual Training) - or the equivalent of that.
Information Systems Technicians in the Navy Reserve serve in an Enlisted role. Before receiving the ongoing professional training that comes with the job, initial training requirements must be met.
For current or former military Enlisted servicemembers, prior experience satisfies the initial Recruit Training requirement, so you will not need to go through Boot Camp again.
For those without prior military experience, you will need to meet the initial Recruit Training requirement by attending Boot Camp in Great Lakes, IL. This training course will prepare you for service in the Navy Reserve and count as your first Annual Training.

They will provide instruction to clients in activities designed to help develop and increase skills in various areas, including personal hygiene, grooming, leisure time, daily living skills, social relationships, pre-vocational skills, community awareness, occupations, and good health practices.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Lead Instructor:
Oversee curriculum and all class schedules
Approves class activities/topics/curriculum/materials needed for classes in addition to other educational/engaging activities, along with getting input from ADDT Instructors, volunteers and prevocational production instructors
Assign, train, and oversee data monitors daily for accuracy and timeliness
Give input to instructors on creative ways to teach skills/test skills for data purposes
Participate in client assessments, planning, and assessments for the purpose of developing a program plan designed to meet the needs and wants of clients in their daily lives as written in the ITP
Break and lunch duty to ensure the safety and well-being of participants
Responsible for maintaining required 1/10 ratios within the classroom setting
Work closely with case managers with client behavior issues
Works directly with clients in classroom, directs and participates in all instructional activities
Turns in data at the end of each week, weekly lesson plans for the following week with attendance and billing hours for each client for the previous week. Quarterly progress reports as assigned
Contacts the supervisor regarding any incidents, behaviors, accidents or illnesses
Use general knowledge of educational practices, developmental disabilities and good interpersonal skills
Initiate programs and maintain required documentation with minimal supervision
Perform other related duties/assignments as required by supervisor or client services
Assist clients with bathroom needs/change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed
Support clients with daily living and vocational activities
Participate in client assessment, planning, and evaluation processes
As needed, attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training
Minimum Qualifications of a Lead Instructor:
1 year of experience
preferred
supporting adults with intellectual developmental disabilities
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have an Arkansas Driver's License
Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check and drug screen
Ability to keep accurate, current records
Excellent interpersonal skills, be flexible, helpful, follow instructions, and be a viable team player
To ensure the safety of program participants, employees must be mentally alert and physically able to quickly respond to the needs of the participants

Job Description of a Donation Truck Driver: Under the supervision of the Thrift Store Manager, this position is responsible for operating a company vehicle to complete routine pickups and deliveries of donated or other materials. Additional duties include assisting with loading and unloading items, supporting daily store operations, and occasionally working the cash register as needed. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and eligibility for auto insurance are required.
Duties and Responsibilities of a Donation Truck Driver:
Pick up donations at schedule appointments/directions
Make trips per week to landfill for trash disposal/scrap metal recycling
Supervise client/trainee who works as assistant on the truck and keep assistant time sheet
Help keep the store in a clean and orderly manner throughout the day
Test electrical donations that are donated for sale
Work cash register as needed handling company money
Receiving donation/completing donation slips
Keyholder responsibilities as needed
Handles customer information and aware of client disability. Is informed of sensitive and held to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Must be able to pass an adult, child background checks, and drug screens
All other jobs as assigned
Minimum Qualifications of a Donation Truck Driver:
Have a valid Arkansas Drivers License and ability to be on company auto insurance
Prior experience driving a box truck with good drivers record/CDL not required
Any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities
