East Valley Community Health Center (EVCHC) is designated as a Federally Qualified Health Center. EVCHC operates six sites in West Covina, Pomona, Covina and La Puente. Health care provided at EVCHC includes: family medicine, pediatrics, pre and post-natal care, women's health care, including family planning and cancer prevention, HIV/AIDS comprehensive care, dental care, vision care and mental health care. EVCHC provided services to 27,231 patients who received over 115,000 visits. Nutrition, care coordination and care management are an integral part of our chronic disease management services. Pharmacy services are available at all of our health centers. EVCHC outreach education services focus on prevention and testing of HIV for various at-risk populations. Since the COVID-19 pandemic started EVCHC provided over 23,000 Covid-19 screenings and tested 900 people. EVCHC has focus its energy in serving the homeless population on the street and homeless shelters. Additionally, EVCHC performed reproductive health presentations at local high schools, reaching over 3,000 students. Our team of enrollment specialists provide enrollment assistance at each of our sites as well as community events, for the various private and public healthcare coverage plans available to the underserved populations. Thousands of individuals and families within our communities received enrollment and re-enrollment assistance.
