Overview
The Project Finance Portfolio Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Finance Portfolio Management team in underwriting, credit monitoring and portfolio management of a portfolio of clients where the repayment of the loan is based on cash flows generated by the related project (power/energy/renewables/solar).
Responsibilities:
Assist Portfolio Managers in underwriting certain aspects of proposed and existing transactions and assist in managing transactions according to the Bank's established guidelines and policies.
Assist in evaluating numerous transaction types across a broad array of power markets and energy sectors, conducting analysis of the borrowers, counterparties, and developing cash flow models.
Develop and manage financial models analyzing the economics and risks associated with project financing structures.
Provide assistance with Depository Agency services, such as preparing wire transfers and fielding internal and external depository inquiries.
Ongoing monitoring of credit/covenant compliance.
Manage the renewal process by working with the Portfolio Managers, the client and the credit department for a variety of tasks such as credit line increases, amendments, and waivers of tripped covenants.

Assist in the review of legal documentation for accuracy, and compliance with Credit approval requirements.

Responsibilities
Achieve quarterly/annual goals through business generation of C&I, CRE, mortgages, SBA, treasury management, deposits, investments, and international and other commercial and consumer products offered through East West Bank

Qualifications

In-depth knowledge of banks, credit and deposit products; experience in international activities between U.S. and Greater China preferred

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position.
