Job Description We are seeking a professional and responsible School Bus Driver for Preschool Special Education in Philadelphia, United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting preschool-aged children with special needs to and from school, ensuring their well-being and comfort during the journey. The Special Education Teacher will: Lead the classroom team, including classroom assistants, to ensure consistent implementation of lesson plans, student supports, and a safe, positive learning environment. Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal regulations. Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust instruction and strategies to meet individual needs. Design and deliver engaging lesson plans that promote academic, social, and developmental growth. Collaborate with related service providers (OT, PT, SLP, etc.) to integrate therapeutic and educational supports throughout the school day. Communicate regularly with families about student progress, IEP goals, and strategies for continued growth at home. Support students' personal care and developmental needs in a nurturing, inclusive classroom setting. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education required. Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification required. Experience with preschool or early childhood special education strongly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and progress monitoring. Strong leadership skills to guide and support classroom assistants and foster a collaborative team environment. Excellent communication and family engagement skills.
