Position Summary
The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for ensuring that our customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free, while adhering to DOT regulations and maintaining strict delivery schedules. This role is vital to our customer relations as they represent our company to customers. The Class A CDL Driver is responsible for inspecting and securing loads, inspecting tractor(s) and trailers prior to departing Eastern Alloys' facilities. Deliveries are typically day trips, with occasional overnights.
Responsibilities & Duties
Secures cargo properly and verifies loads for accuracy.
Communicates and coordinates with the traffic department on pickup and delivery schedule.
Maintains a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Completes and records pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports for any maintenance needed to management.
Performs daily maintenance of trucks(refueling, cleaning, etc.).
Complies with truck driving rules and regulations and follows all applicable traffic laws.
Reports on defects, accidents, and violations.
Plans routes and meeting delivery schedules and interact with customers in a professional manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Valid Class A CDL driver's license.
3+yearsof commercial driving experience.
Working Conditions
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, and bend for extended periods of time. This role will primarily work on the road.
Expected Salary Range
Up to $1500 weekly M-F, Hiring Bonus Up to $4,000!

Position Description: This position requires printing experience in a manufacturing environment. Deliver company business objectives in Safety, Quality and Productivity using subject matter expertise and Continuous Improvement principles while effectively engaging their direct reports and leading their cross functional team of hourly personnel within the production operation. This individual must possess strong interpersonal skills, align with our culture and to do what is necessary, within plant guidelines and procedures, to ensure the shift and overall operation is successful. Primary Responsibilities:
Ability to lead up to 50 employees in their job assignments within any area of the operation and accountability for major plant equipment assets.
Demonstrated ability to coach/teach/mentor, provide feedback/constructive criticism and performance manage personnel.
Sustain a clean and safe working environment and maintain compliance with established company and customer policies and procedures.
Champion company safety and quality culture, as well as active participation and contribution to Continuous Improvement programs and initiatives.
Ability to communicate job expectations and ensure accountability to established standards/processes/practices/procedures.
Achieve production plan and production targets by effectively scheduling and assigning personnel, and resolving safety, quality, productivity, maintenance, and personnel issues as they arise.
Understand, communicate, and execute production priorities. Ensure accurate results and information is reported on shift production summaries.
Demonstrated experience automating equipment and processes.
Complete all necessary personnel documentation and reports (including time & attendance) and conduct effective performance reviews.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Operations Management, Technical) or higher preferred. Job Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years total manufacturing experience (minimum 3 years manufacturing experience with supervisory responsibilities).
Experience with 6S/Continuous Improvement (Lean)
Demonstrated hands-on experience with machinery/automation and computer-based software (financial reporting, attendance tracking, inventory control and Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel).
Self-motivated, works with a sense of urgency and purpose, able to balance priorities and function independently, well-organized and detail oriented.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, orally & written, with all levels of employees.
Experience in process improvement programs preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to change and support/lead manufacturing projects.
Printing/Packaging experience
Environment: Candidate will work in a manufacturing environment. Requires prolonged standing (60%), moderate walking (30%) with occasional sitting (10%). Requires near/far acuity and color vision.
