Earlier in his career, Ponton served as managing director, Asia-Pacific, for Veyance Technologies, an engineered products business based in Shanghai, China, and Melbourne, Australia. Mr. Ponton began his career at Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., where he rose through the ranks over 16 years to vice president, Marketing, and earlier vice president and general manager of Goodyear Retail, a division with 800 stores and 8,000 employees. Mr. Ponton holds Bachelor of Science, Finance, from the University of Nebraska.
