About this opportunity
This safety sensitive position will provide support to the Service department as needed and ensure the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers.
What your role will look like
Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
Unload liquid fuel products from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
Support Eastern's policies and procedures by maintaining required licensure and meeting DOT and SOP standards.
Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner, including reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
Perform leak checks in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code #58 and restart system appliances.
Install and maintain tank monitors.
Maintain organized and professional standards and appearance in dress, hygiene, cleanliness of vehicle.
Perform maintenance of facility during off-season including painting, mowing, trimming, raking, weeding, tank preparation, tank evacuation, and meter reading.
Provide support to the Service department, as needed, to include the following functions:
Perform tank swaps and inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
Perform cathodic testing of underground tanks and DOT tank inspections.
Operate crane truck for setting, installing, and transporting propane tanks.
Assist certified Service and Installation Technicians with equipment installation.
Contribute to the team's reliability, including by communicating in advance planned absences and participating in the regularly scheduled on-call rotation.
Meet attendance expectations, which involves consistently arriving to work on time and being prepared to work within assigned, scheduled work hours, understanding that these scheduled work hours may vary based on the seasonal needs of the department.
Be receptive to and competently use new technologies.
Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.

What you'll do:
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks, and/or cylinders) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver reports where necessary.
Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable, document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the Dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
Provide Propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all state/local codes and safety policies. Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection. Respond to customer emergencies as needed. Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations. Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks in preparation of installation.

About this opportunity
This position is responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Service Department and sets a high standard for safety leadership, customer service and internal growth. The position supervises Service Technicians and Service CSR's facilitating effective communication within the department along with other stakeholders in the district including sales, delivery and other staff. What your role will look like
Ensure that all product sales, installations and servicing is handled in a timely, efficient and appropriate manner, including, but not limited to that they are performed consistent with all company policies and procedures, handbooks, manuals, and state and federal codes
Maintain a proficient working knowledge of the Company's safety policies and procedures and implementing them in connection with all servicing and installations
Provide feedback and coaching to employees regarding performance, contributions and areas needing improvement on a consistent basis. Responsible for keeping Operations/Regional Manager informed of personnel related issues
Timely documentation and reporting of all accidents and work-related injuries
Supervise the following functions:
Ensure all service orders, completed tickets, daily logs, and payments collected from customers are turned in daily by service
Ensure all service & installation technicians are provided with appropriate documentation to be left at the customer location, i.e. safety packets
Ensure work assigned to service and installation technicians is completed safely, the service vehicles are kept clean and technicians present neat and clean uniform appearance.
Ensure that all work orders are priced accurately and put through billing in a timely manner
Ensure that all appointments with our customers are kept or otherwise notified of a change in scheduling

What you'll do:
Transfer, collect, load, and deliver propane products to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks, and/or cylinders) for customers. Initiate and conduct the asset verification process. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver reports where necessary.
Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable, document pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.
Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the Dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling, or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.
Provide Propane tank installations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with all state/local codes and safety policies. Identify and correct any leaks from the tank to equipment connection. Respond to customer emergencies as needed. Complete tank inspections and repairs at customer locations.
Perform tank maintenance on spare tanks in preparation of installation.
Perform other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To operate our company vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT, tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce. About this opportunity
This position is responsible for ensuring the safe repair, preventative maintenance, and tracking of all company vehicles in their district. This includes ensuring that the appropriate resources are available to meet customer service requirements.
What your role will look like
Conduct all necessary and appropriate preventative maintenance of company vehicles in a safe, timely, and competent manner
Safely and swiftly correct all deficiencies when reported by operator of the company vehicle
Timely and accurate completion and maintenance of all forms and paperwork including maintenance records and state inspection reports
Consistently comply with company, state and federal safety regulations
Due to equipment, fuels and other products being utilized, this individual must remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner
Report any unsafe conditions immediately and actively participate in all safety and staff meetings as required
Maintain vehicle repair facility to ensure the premises are safe and orderly
What you'll bring to this role
Education: High school diploma/GED
Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years fleet mechanic experience
Proven Diesel and Gas engine knowledge
Preferred knowledge of and proficiency in the use of diagnostic test equipment necessary to safely maintain company
Experience with CAT, Cummins, OBD2 or similar software
Submit to and pass Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol tests

About this opportunity
This position is responsible for performing the safe service and installation of propane and oil equipment on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company vehicles, assisting with service-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers. The anticipated pay range for this position is $65,000 to $95,000.
