What your role will look like Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night. Unload liquid fuel products from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose. Support Eastern's policies and procedures by maintaining required licensure and meeting DOT and SOP standards. Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner, including reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately. Perform leak checks in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Code #58 and restart system appliances. Install and maintain tank monitors. Perform maintenance of facility during off-season including painting, mowing, trimming, raking, weeding, tank preparation, tank evacuation, and meter reading. Provide support to the Service department, as needed, to include the following functions: Perform tank swaps and inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards. Perform cathodic testing of underground tanks and DOT tank inspections. Operate crane truck for setting, installing, and transporting propane tanks. Assist certified Service and Installation Technicians with equipment installation. Contribute to the team's reliability, including by communicating in advance planned absences and participating in the regularly scheduled on-call rotation. Meet attendance expectations, which involves consistently arriving to work on time and being prepared to work within assigned, scheduled work hours, understanding that these scheduled work hours may vary based on the seasonal needs of the department.
