About these opportunities
This position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers. This position is scheduled between the hours of 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM (November - April) and 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM (May - October) and requires participation in the on-call rotation.
What your role will look like
Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
Support Eastern's policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Eastern's SOPs and restart system appliances.
Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum of two-year degree in a technical field (science or engineering) or equivalent experience in compliance and training. Trade certifications may also be considered.
Minimum of three years' experience in the propane industry or experience in a safety-focused role within a similar industry.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and NFPA regulations.

This position is responsible for providing support to the Supply Supervisor. Communicate with the industrial team to develop work orders as needed.

About this opportunity
This position is responsible for providing support to the Supply Supervisor. Key contributions include rail car logistics, liquid inventory management, maintaining supplier and customer pricing, assisting with dispatching transports, data entry, managing customer calls, and providing administrative support to the department and all Eastern districts.
What your role will look like
Monitor rail service logistics, track and report on rail cars while in transit, process rail shipping documents, interact with rail suppliers and railroads to ensure timely and efficient movement of rail cars.
Utilize daily readings, Oracle JD Edwards' software (JDE), and other software to manage on-hand liquid inventory. Reconcile month end inventory with correcting adjustments.
Process daily work and learn all duties within the Supply Department to provide coverage across the team.
Develop contracts for suppliers and customers. Enter contracts into agreement master within JDE and reconcile lifted volume daily.
Provide customers with requested information utilizing JDE software or other appropriate means to achieve total satisfaction.
Prepare and enter customer documentation into coinciding customer files.
Enter daily propane and distillate pricing in JDE and maintain a daily log of prices for analysis.
Quote product for internal fixed price programs and external customer fixed price deals.
Communicate with the industrial team to develop work orders as needed.
Assist the accounts payable department to resolve any supplier or vendor invoice discrepancies.
Provide operational support and guidance to ensure maximum productivity.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Excel, including demonstrable experience with spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

About these opportunities
This position is responsible for ensuring the safe delivery of liquid products to our customers on a daily basis. This position is also responsible for the cleanliness of company delivery vehicles, assisting with delivery-related projects, and providing a high level of service to customers and coworkers. This position is scheduled between the hours of 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM (November - April) and 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM (May - October) and requires participation in the on-call rotation.
What your role will look like
Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport liquid fuel products in every weather condition and at any time, day or night.
Load and unload liquid fuel products safely from vehicle, which includes pulling up to 150 feet of delivery hose.
Utilize web-based platforms on tablet, smart phone, laptop, and desktop to manage workflow and record data.
Support Eastern’s policies and procedures, including by maintaining required licensure, meeting state, Department of Transportation (DOT), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) requirements, and complying with all applicable regulatory standards.
Remain alert and focused and otherwise complete work in a safe manner.
Demonstrate a commitment to safety by engaging in safety meetings, safety training, and safety refreshers, alerting supervisor to unsafe actions, and modeling safety-conscious practices.
Perform system checks, including leak checks, in accordance with Eastern’s SOPs and restart system appliances.
Install and maintain tank monitors, periodically and as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
