The Career Navigator will be responsible for providing person-centered services to an assigned caseload of participants enrolled in the Pathways program. The Career Navigator will be the primary point of contact with their participants and will provide comprehensive case management and employment services to help them move toward self-sufficiency. The Career Navigator will work closely with participants from start to finish in the program, facilitating the initial assessment of strengths and needs and then coordinating the necessary services to assist each participant in meeting their goals.

Essential Functions
Serve as primary case manager for assigned participants throughout the continuum of services.
Utilize various tools to assess participant needs and barriers, develop a career/employment plan, and identify appropriate support and services within Easterseals and in the community.
Coordinate referrals to community centers and organizations to address needs and remove barriers.
Coordinate referrals to additional services as needed including benefits planning, assistive technology, financial literacy and legal assistance.
Coordinate job search activities including resume preparation; identification of job opportunities; completion and submission of applications, coordination, and assistance with interviews; and advocacy with potential employers as requested and necessary.
Will meet regularly with each assigned participant to facilitate communication and progress toward goal acquisition. Frequency of meetings can vary based on each participant's specific program status, needs, and choice.
Conduct on-site job analysis as appropriate and requested.
Provide necessary and appropriate on-the-job training with each assigned consumer, as necessary and appropriate, including advocacy and development of natural support.
Provide post-employment support and advocacy as necessary to facilitate long-term success.
Complete and submit all required documentation for each assigned participant throughout the continuum of services while enrolled in the program.
Teach workplace readiness skills to individual participants or groups as needed using existing curriculum.
Process requests for “bridge” funds and present to Program Manager for approval.
Coordinate with the Education Specialist to assist participants, as desired, with exploration and accessing post-secondary training and education options, acquisition of a high school diploma or HSE, tutoring, and enhancing literacy skills.
Coordinate with the Business Liaison for job search and job placement assistance for participants.
Encourage participation in Circles Indy and attend meetings as appropriate to support participants.
Education, Licenses, Certification:
Bachelor's degree in vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Business, or related field.
3-5 years' experience working as employment consultant, case manager, or related position.
A current, valid Indiana Driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Experience required:
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
Hours
37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday; must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays if necessary, to meet the needs of assigned consumers.

Position Description:
The CampAbility Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the summer day camp, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for campers. This role oversees CampAbility (for campers ages 4-10years of age), classroom leads and assistants, supervises before and after care programs, and collaborates on curriculum development. The Camp Coordinator plays a key role in staff training, camper behavior management, and overall program execution.

The employee consultant position requires the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including consumers, family members, referral agencies and business representatives. IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Excel in providing occupational therapy services to clients and their families in a multi-disciplinary, team-oriented outpatient setting. Clients range in disability type and age from 0-17 years.
Assist with occupational therapy assessments for clients identified for the Neurodevelopmental Clinic.
Provide ongoing occupational therapy to clients of NDC at Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.
Communicate professionally, make referrals and coordinate services with community agencies when needed.
Maintain appropriate records of services to reflect client assessment and needs; develop recommendations to provide to families during feedback.
Maintain client documents, collect data and submit reports according to established time frames.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:

Essential Functions

Coordinate job development activities of assigned consumers including resume preparation; identification of job opportunities; completion and submission of applications; coordination and assistance with interviews; and advocacy with potential employers as requested and necessary.
Conduct on-site job analysis, as appropriate and requested.
Provide necessary and appropriate on-the-job training with each assigned consumer.
Provide consumer specific disability and awareness training as appropriate and requested at consumers' job sites.
Provide on-site job training, advocacy and development of natural supports, as appropriate and requested.
Provide post-employment supports and advocacy as necessary and requested by consumers and employers to facilitate success for a minimum of 90 days.
Provide Extended Services (ES) as required for all Supported Employment consumers on an on-going basis, per internal policy and external regulations.
Completion and submission of all required documentation and billing for each assigned consumer in their electronic case record in accordance with department guidelines.
Maintain a current authorization status for each assigned consumer.
Maintain regular, on-going communication with referral and funding sources for all assigned consumers.
Meet regularly with each assigned consumer during job search. Frequency of meetings can vary based on each consumers' specific choice and need but should not be less often than monthly.
Attend all required staff and agency meetings, in-services and staff training.
Successfully complete all required training.
Education, Experience, Licenses, Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Business or related field preferred.
Experience working as employment consultant or similar position may be substituted for degree.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities highly preferred.
A current, valid Indiana Driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
Communication Skills
The employee consultant position requires the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences including consumers, family members, referral agencies and business representatives. This includes the ability to tailor communication to each specific audience, using appropriate styles and approaches, and an understanding of the importance of non-verbal cues in communication. Good communication requires the background skills of presenting, audience awareness, critical listening and body language.
Excellent written communication with the ability to write effectively in a clear and concise manner is required. Written communication will be used to develop and complete all consumer required documentation as well as to relay and receive messages via email from consumers, referral sources, businesses representatives, and ESC personnel.
Knowedge, Skill, Ability
Knowledge of the ADA accommodation interactive process, disability and funding systems including Vocational Rehabilitation Services, Bureau of Developmental Disabilities and Indiana Medicaid Waiver is required.
