Building Value is a building materials reuse enterprise offering deconstruction services and salvaged goods at its retail store. We are seeking a dynamic business development leader and strategic thinker who is ready to put their talents to work in an entrepreneurial, mission-driven organization and take our business ventures to the next level. Job Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of the Vice President of Social Enterprise Growth will be driving revenue growth that advances our mission, as well as conducting market research, creating and executing business strategies, managing client and partner relationships, negotiating contracts, and leading our team to achieve sales and growth goals in social enterprise. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong communication, negotiation skills, and leadership abilities. The Vice President is accountable for the P&L of Building Value LLC and Easterseals Kitting and Logistics, and is the executive team liaison to the Building Value advisory committee. The position reports to the President and CEO and is a member of the senior leadership team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Identifies new business opportunities, secures new clients, and develops and maintains a strong sales pipeline. Identifies profitable opportunities for customer diversification Evaluates existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what doesn't. Manages key client relationships and works to build new ones. Expands the profile and reach of Easterseals Redwood and its brands. Develops and strengthens internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share. Builds cross-functional teams with ESRW programs and advancement to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth. Fosters and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions. Researches and identifies new markets and emerging market trends. Fulfills requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers. Crafts tailored pitches for key prospects highlighting how Easterseals can help achieve their goals and create goodwill with their customer base Identifies opportunities to launch new businesses and/or service lines; develops business cases for the CEO and board Develop overarching vision, strategy, and operational plan for social enterprise Marketing & Communications • Ensures the organization and its mission, vision and partners are communicated effectively and consistently • Partners with Easterseals' advancement and marketing team to guide communication planning and media execution to grow awareness and expand impact. • Seeks out collaboration opportunities with likeminded brands and ways to creatively leverage social channels and relevant networks to increase awareness of Easterseals' mission Operations & Finance • Builds organizational capacity and lead day-to-day management of the operations • Identifies operational efficiencies that drive quality improvement and profitability • Leads budget planning and forecasting, ensuring stability and growth • Ensures regulatory compliance for all operations People & Organizational Management • Leads business directors and teams. • Develops staffing models that balance efficiency and workforce development mission. • Leads recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluation of team. This position also maintains, in good condition, the facility infrastructure, mechanical systems and equipment; works to provide a safe, clean, comfortable, and well-functioning facility to fulfills the needs of the organization; employees, clients and our visitors. ESRW has locations throughout Northern Kentucky and Southwest Ohio where work will be performed. Provides maintenance services in compliance with agency policies, licensing and accrediting standards, regulations, OSHA, and laws relevant to safety, cleanliness, and facility operation. Completes facility repairs in compliance with fire, electrical, plumbing, and other building codes. Completes and documents inspections as assigned. Reports areas of non-compliance to the Facilities Manager. Uses safe lifting techniques and the proper use of dollies and other equipment to move heavy items. Demonstrates helpful and courteous behavior to staff of other departments and to vendors/contractors. Works with and/or facilitates the work of volunteers and volunteer groups as directed. Helps monitor the fire protection systems for proper operation. During system malfunction, responds immediately to address the problem while making notification to the Facilities Manager. Helps monitors and set heat, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to provide temperatures to meet needs. Conducts lighting maintenance to include cleaning of fixtures and replacement of ballasts/bulbs/covers to support adequate lighting throughout the facility. Immediate response to plumbing emergencies including resolving problems with clogged pipes, leaks/overflows, and hot water malfunctions. Conducts routine maintenance for all plumbing systems. Immediately responds to electrical malfunctions. Performs electrical work such as adding outlets, light switches and fixtures; circuit breaker replacement and addition of new circuit breakers and wiring installation for new electrical outlets, switches and lighting. Immediately responds to HVAC malfunctions to assess. Reports to and consults with the Facilities Manager prior to conducting HVAC repairs or scheduling an HVAC service provider. Conducts all facility and grounds work/repairs in accordance with approved work order system. Responds to other emergency situations relative to the facility to help resolve safety concerns. Helps coordinates waste management program including the routine collection and deposit of building and grounds trash into the dumpster, and the removal of dumpster contents by a waste disposal service. Facilitates pest monitoring, prevention activities, mechanical/chemical controls, and pesticide services. Performs ice/snow removal around entry doors, walks and sidewalks and coordinates with snow removal service for all facility parking lots, lanes, and drives. Maintains the upkeep of equipment and supplies. Coordinate with and maintain good relationships with external contractors. Ensure a clean and safe environment for the purposes and needs of the facilities. Maintain and facilitate the proper care of the facility grounds and landscape elements. Helps ensure the security of the building by implementing various security measures as directed. Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility. At each Community Hub location, we strive to help individuals become active participants in their communities and access meaningful work experiences. Community Hub DSPs teach adults vocational skills and basic community involvement skills including social, intellectual, and physical outreach to help individuals served work towards a successful future based on each individual's definition of that. Job Responsibilities: Demonstrates knowledge of assigned adult's condition. Reads individual files, reviews assessments, individualized objectives, and performance data to identify preferences, means of participation, method of problem-solving, and proficiency of adults in performing tasks. Provides physical assistance to individuals served when exiting/entering the Community Hub/various community setting and to/from transportation if necessary. (This may include securing wheelchairs for transportation and/or physical transfer of individuals.) Supports individuals at all community work sites and ensures contracted work is completed correctly and in the allotted time frames. This may include performing contract work to complete contracted assignments. Supports individuals at all community volunteer sites and ensures agreed upon work/task is completed correctly and in the allotted time frames. This may include performing volunteer work to assist individuals served accomplish task. Assigns, sets-up and trains individuals served in their daily job assignments. This includes reinforcing previously learned assignments, providing supervision, checking work for quality and supplying individuals served with materials. Instructing individuals served in a manner appropriate for their learning style and abilities. Supervises all individuals served in immediate work area. Establishes and maintains safe working environment for individuals served. May operate machines and maintain equipment based on vocational/volunteer sites. Provides active learning programs for individuals/small groups to support the development of new skills and achievement of learning objectives with assistance from the Community Hub Lead at the Community Hub location and in various community locations. Other duties as assigned. Education/Qualifications: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Two years working with individuals with disabilities preferred Team player Driver's License required *We are a drug-free workplace.
