For the Legal Department of Eastman, we are currently looking for a Senior Corporate Securities Attorney and Assistant Secretary with strong experience in (i) drafting and reviewing regulatory documents required for filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"), (ii) managing corporate governance and updating and drafting policies and procedures for compliance with NYSE and SEC regulations and requirements, (iii) maintaining awareness of governance trends and making appropriate recommendations, and (iv) reviewing corporate communications including communications with investors, disclosures, press releases, marketing materials, and investor presentations. Qualifications

The Profile

+ Juris Doctorate from accredited law school; active member of at least one US State bar in good standing; able to obtain membership in the Tennessee bar.

+ A minimum of 8 years' experience ideally comprised of relevant securities law and public company reporting experience with a high-caliber law firm or relevant government agency and in-house experience with a NYSE publicly-traded multinational company.

+ Demonstrated ability to (i) identify and raise salient issues, (ii) draft language and propose various options that consider relevant strategic or business goals, and (iii) communicate issues, risks, and solutions clearly and concisely to lawyers and non-lawyers alike.

+ Creative thinker and an effective storyteller who is willing to learn and understand our corporate mission and advocate passionately for our business.

Responsibilities

As a Sourcing Manager for Circular Feedstocks within the Global Sourcing Team and an active member of the cross-functional Feedstock Supplier Activation Team (FSAT), you will be developing and executing elements within the unique and overarching Circular Feedstocks Sourcing Strategy. The FSAT dashboard comprises technical and commercial funnels, and our charge is to accelerate the progress of feedstocks through these to meet our needs. This is an opportunity to shape the way Eastman does business in the Circular Economy, and you'll be on the forefront of this work.

This is a full-time position with the ability to work remotely and will report to Strategic Sourcing Manager aligned with the Plastics and Circularity Division. You will directly interact with other Sourcing Managers, the Circular Feedstocks team within Corporate Technology and Innovation, as well as Team Members from Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Sustainability functions, in order to accomplish the goals of the Circular Economy business. There will also be a heavy interaction with Eastman Logistics, the Alternative Methods of Supply team, and of course, feedstock suppliers. On occasions, you may be expected to present information to Leadership and would need to be comfortable in doing so in a professional manner. There is no direct supervision of employees in this role.

Job Responsibilities:

+ Build and execute feedstock category strategies by leading a cross-functional, category team

+ Create the situation assessment for the category including internal and external assessments, analysis of the business requirements, value chain and capability assessments (SWOT, 5-Forces, SCP, cost curves, etc.)

+ Lead option generation that includes commercial, specification and demand levers and choices of what we will do and what we will not do

+ Prioritize the Feedstock category strategy development to align with business, technology and manufacturing requirements

+ Conduct Feedstock supplier management activities

+ Lead initiatives that deliver the value (cost savings or value to functional area) utilizing project management skills and change management techniques

+ Track the performance of spend to understand price and volume variances; make adjustments to approaches based on results.

+ Develop and lead supplier relationship teams, where applicable, to drive continuous performance improvement (annual target development, quarterly progress, etc)

+ Develop year on year forecast of price impacts for category

+ Develop supplier engagement plans annually for major suppliers.

+ Conduct supplier development activities to identify additional potential suppliers.

+ Lead sourcing events for the Feedstock categories, such as reverse auctions

+ Lead and conduct RFI's and RFP's utilizing an eRFx tool as the preferred method of engagement.

+ Negotiate contracts and amendments as necessary to deliver the category strategy and deliver initial and ongoing cost advantage.

+ Ensure pricing is managed per the contract and approve all price increase requests by suppliers.

+ Research, identify, and validate the credibility of our new Circular Feedstock suppliers

+ Work across multiple cross-functional teams, where you will be expected to have influence without authority

+ Obtain and analyze pricing bids to determine proper sourcing of raw materials

+ Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and other commercial aspects of vendor relationship

+ Identify and implement cost savings and avoidance opportunities without impacting service levels

+ Uphold internal and external policies, regulations and laws

Qualifications

Required Education and Professional experience:

+ Bachelor's Degree required (business, engineering, science, or supply chain). Master's Degree strongly preferred.

+ A minimum of 2 years commercial experience is required.

+ Previous exposure to purchasing, sourcing or commercial experience such as contract negotiations, market assessments, strategy frameworks (e.g. Porter analysis, SWOT analysis, etc) is strongly preferred.

+ Five years project and/or program management background.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

+ Demonstrated Capability to learn new techniques and quickly applying them.

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for coordination of all activities necessary to provide sales, service and distribution support to our customers.
