Job Description
The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator works onsite at an Eataly location to facilitate various aspects of the HR function including but not limited to: recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, and employee relations. Reports to the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP).
Collaborates with the HRBP and the HR Generalist to deploy a fully integrated People strategy from acquisition to exit
Remains up to date on recruiting needs and tracks progress against open positions
Executes the recruiting process using the Applicant Tracking System: posts jobs; sources candidates; screens and selects candidates for advancement; coordinates interviews; manages candidate experience and follow up
Organizes in-store hiring events and participates in external job fairs
Sends offer letters and onboarding paperwork; follows up with candidates about their first day of work and new hire orientation `
Participates in facilitating new hire orientation and the onboarding process, guiding new employees in the completion of onboarding paperwork when necessary
Maintains employee files through the Human Resources Information System such as employee records, training tracking, status changes, and separations
Assists with the preparation and set up of training classes, employee meetings, and staff classes
Acts as a liaison to employees, developing engagement activities and responding to inquiries and requests
Drives awareness and adoption of the benefits offering at Eataly
Supports the HRBP with metrics and data analysis
Conducts and analyzes exit interviews to identify and recommend improvements to existing processes

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
2+ years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
Experience in high-volume operations, preferably in the restaurant/hospitality industry
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Exemplary organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A Barista creates and serves specialty hot and cold beverages according to Eataly's recipes and guests' special requests. A Barista is knowledgeable about all coffee menu items, provides high-quality, fast-paced service and is able to work at multiple QSR counters performing various functions. Reports to the QSR General Manager and the QSR Assistant General Managers.
* Prepares and serves authentic Italian espresso, coffee and other café drinks at multiple counters
* Provides guests with exceptional service and product details, such as coffee blend or preparation description
* Sets up stations and replenishes displays neatly including separation of allergens (nuts, wheat, etc.)
* Ensures all items are dated and following First in First Out (FIFO) standards
* Weighs, grinds or packs coffee beans for guests according to their specifications
* Operates the Point of Sales (POS) system ensuring accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills
* Cleans and sanitizes work areas in accordance with supervising health agency of the area
* Works across all QSR counters serving pastry, gelato, pizza and other Italian delicacies
* Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume
* Performs other duties as required or assigned

Requirements:
Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. But some managers also lead Departments. These managers' responsibilities may include managing assigned Systems, like Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management, setting goals, delegating tasks to their teams, following up, and reporting results back to their team and other managers.
The Guest Service Department Leader's responsibilities may include making sure Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience, that sales promotions are done well, that all service staff are trained in service procedures, and that the Front Counter McCafé and Drive-Thru areas are organized for the best service.
The Quality Department Leader's responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant delivers great quality food to customers, and fast, that food is always safe, that food cost is controlled, and that all kitchen staff are trained in production procedures, including new items that are added to the menu.
The People Department Leader's responsibilities may include making sure the restaurant hires qualified crew, trains them well, and schedules them to meet restaurant sales and profit goals. This manager's responsibilities may also include making sure Crew get off to a good start at the restaurant and that they are recognized and motivated throughout their time working there.
Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail or hospitality environment. We're looking for positive team players who like to have fun, with the passion to work the famously fast paced McDonald's environment. You must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate owned and operated restaurants. Department Leaders are required to have an open availability.
