What you'll do:
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Assemble and/or solder routine electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and final assemblies of simple to complex product line that includes military and commercial parts for customer such as Vertex, Gulfstream, Raytheon, and Boeing military. May support soldering needs for all focus factories.
Reports to the Production Supervisor/Manager in Skydrol.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Responsible for electronic assembly and repair of Surface Mount and Through-hole assemblies.
* Crimp and solder connectors. Desoldering as needed.
* Perform lock wire/safety wire, nameplate, assembly of mechanical assemblies and subassemblies (i.e. printed circuit board). Ensure activities are performed correctly and proper tooling and documentation is used.
* Interpret blueprints, verbal, and/or written instructions
* Perform visual inspection and identify any defective items and handle according to established procedures
* Perform cross training when required.
* Potting of components and housings for electrical assemblies
* Must have the ability to utilize hand tools such as, but not limited to air drivers, crimpers, pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, arbor press, vises, depth micrometers, measuring tools, calipers, lockwire pliers and soldering tools.
* Adhere to operational procedures and ensure tooling is in calibration before use.
* Work with others to complete assemblies
* Maintain clean and safe work area. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
* Support ongoing continuous improvement in support of quality, productivity and growth objectives compatibility and safety of electrical systems.

Position Summary/Essential Functions:
Leading the electrical commodity procurement team, The Sourcing Lead is responsible for ascertaining strategies to achieve tactical excellence (i.e. Supplier OTD, On-time PO Placement, PCV, etc.) and strategic initiatives for the electrical commodity. The LA facility has approximately 250 employees and is a leader in the design, development, manufacture and delivery of Aerospace hydraulic components, systems and services to the global aftermarket and OEM markets.
Essential Functions:
* Capability to setup complex parts and operate machine without supervision.
* Interprets plans, work order, blueprints or drawings to determine the necessary work required, full understanding of GD&T.
* Inspects parts for quality and appropriate tolerance using the appropriate measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, air gages and comparators.
* Finishes all parts with different materials to close tolerance without supervision.
* Examines surface of work piece for defects before starting work.
* Must meet production and quality requirements at all times, always keep work area clean.
* Ability to modify machining feed and speeds on multiple material types and select tooling, gauges as/if required.
* Uses measuring tools, air gauges, micrometers and other inspection tools to verify part quality.
* Replaces worn tools, inspect parts and adjust tool offsets as needed.
* Must be a team player and follow all safety rules and regulations.
* Drives for continuous process improvements
