The Lead Design Engineer (LDE) is responsible for leading design deliverables to maintain project schedule, design budget, design accuracy, and submittal completeness working in concert with a broader execution team. The LDE is charged with value added engineering to provide a quality product while driving efficiencies. The expected annual salary range for this role is $93750.03 - $137500.04 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you'll do:** The purpose of this position is to provide design engineering services instrumental to the completion of turnkey projects. This position is to provide engineering guidance to teams of designers/discipline specific engineers to create complete designs including both electrical and civil packages. + Lead medium/high voltage designs for Substations and MV power distribution projects. + Participate in site walk-downs to assist in developing proposals for new work in the region. + Develop engineering estimates, scope of work, and review technical documents. + Responsible for developing drawing packages which include: + Equipment Specifications + Single line/Three-line drawings + Schematics/Wiring/Interconnection diagrams + General arrangement drawings + Conduit/cable plans + Grounding drawings + AC/DC control power drawings + SCADA and Communication design + Equipment Testing Procedures/Commissioning plans + Various Power Engineering calculations **Qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + BS in engineering from an accredited institution with minimum of seven (7) years of electrical engineering or electrical design experience OR AS in engineering from an accredited institution with minimum of Ten(10) years of electrical engineering or design experience; OR In lieu of degree, minimum twelve (12) years of electrical engineering or design experience. + Must be located in one of the desired locations to be considered including (PA,OH, NY, NJ, IL, MO, MI, MD, DE, IN), will not consider relocation. + Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Job Purpose and Impact The Refinery General Production Supervisor will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating facilities with moderate presence in multiple regions or moderate degree of complexity. In this role, you will oversee and hold facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance. The refinery supervisor will be help lead unit operations such as deodorization (2 deodorizers), soy refining process, enzymatic interestification, palm bleaching, hydrogenation, wastewater, truck loadout, oil blending, and rail unload. Key Accountabilities Oversee all operations from multiple departments, processes or shifts to ensure teams are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance. Partners with environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory experts to identify the most effective approach for implementing and monitoring corporate safety policies and procedures. Oversee production outcomes, quantity and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications. Partner collaboratively with appropriate centers of excellence including, but not limited to engineering and plant management, to provide input into the development of plant capital investment strategies. Accountable for the implementation of capital investments Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators with focus on continuous improvements in site operational targets, especially around supplies, services, and maintenance budgets. Develops and oversees operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts. Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. Qualifications * Bachelors degree (BS) in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related discipline. * Minimum 3 years of experience in electroplating, including demonstrated knowledge of related chemicals, controls and mechanical systems. * Ability to effectively assess and implement continuous improvement techniques to manufacturing functions. * Ability to use standard business applications software and/or specialized data analysis tools. * Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders and top management. * Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. * Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback and self-development activities. * Six Sigma and Lean tools experience is desired.
