    Eaton's IS AER ITD division is currently seeking a Assembler II-2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $18.50 per hour. The hours for this shift are 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **What you'll do:** **PRIMARY FUNCTION:** Assembler role will assemble, fit, fasten, and install parts to form subassemblies. Align, fit, assemble, fasten, connect, and install system components of military mechanical/electromechanical equipment. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** - Setup equipment to meet product standards for identification, shell painting, retainer loading, contact painting, wire cutting, riveting, contact crimping and contact hooding. - Weigh, mix and identify items such as inks, paints, adhesives, molding compounds, and potting materials. - Follow intermediate drawings and procedures. - Perform work with limited to no supervision. - Support cross training and support of other departments. - Manually load and/or machine load retainers into molded plastic inserts per work order instructions. - Bond loaded front inserts to molded plastic rear inserts per work order instructions. - Bond interface seals and grommet seals to plastic insert assemblies per work order instructions. - Rework and/or repair assembled parts and products according to engineering specification changes. - Read and interpret blueprints, illustrations, and specifications to determine layouts, sequences of operations, and follows procedures. - Position and align subassemblies in jigs or fixtures, using measuring instruments and following blueprint lines and index points. - Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions. - Assemble and bond EMI rings to connector shell per work order instructions. - Apply identification stamping to various components and assemblies. - Paint components, as well as apply paint stripe markings to contacts. - Work in a safe manner and perform housekeeping duties to maintain safe work environment. Assure proper maintenance of a safe and clean work area. - Stage materials for shipment as required. - Prepare single and shielded wires for termination, crimp contacts to prepared wires, terminate simple cables to connectors, and load and operate heat treat and annealing ovens. - Soldering contacts and application of solvents and epoxies. - Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** - High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution - Minimum of 1-3 years with Manufacturing Environment experience - Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future. - This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
