Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution * Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or electrical engineering experience * Possess a valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering * Sales experience within the utility market, inclusive of transmission and distribution or generation * Channel management experience * Project management experience * Experience working with consulting engineers Skills: Position Criteria: * Possess excellent communication skills * Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future * Ability to respond to a variety of circumstances while continuing to demonstrate superior selling skills for important customer services and applications * Experience with Microsoft software and Salesforce software * Experience managing channel partners * Strong drive for results and self-motivated * Solid business acumen and decision-making skills * Ability to travel 30-60% (primarily local customer travel within assigned territory) * Knowledge of competitor products and channels in the utility industry * Project management skills * Ability to provide technical solutions built around customer needs * Time management skills * Possess negotiating skills while understanding and using techniques needed to close orders * Experience with preparing sales proposals that meet customer expectations * Experience utilizing value-added selling techniques * Strong work ethic, competitiveness, willingness to learn and adept at building relationships * Understanding of the utility segment and customers with an emphasis on T&D The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive. This position has a target total compensation range of $139,500 - $204,600. Base salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
