We are seeking a Specialist - IT System Analyst to join our Corporate IT organization, which supports a global network of manufacturing sites. Operating in a matrix-style environment, this role works from a corporate layer to enable secure, reliable machine connectivity and industrial edge-to-cloud data flows in partnership with site and business teams. The individual acts as a specialized resource and consultant to plants-guiding connectivity architecture, building corporate-owned components, and coordinating with onsite resources for shop-specific configuration in alignment with IT Digial Manufacturing digital tool portfolio internal products. The role collaborates closely with the IoT Architect to help drive adoption of reference architectures and with data and analytics and Digital Manufacturing software development teams to ensure connectivity supports the broader data strategy.
**Job Responsibilities**
- Act as a corporate IT consultant for machine connectivity projects across manufacturing sites.
- Guide project approach, review designs, and coordinate execution with site teams.
- Support and coordinate delivery with local resources and approved vendors.
- Build and maintain secure connectivity components (e.g., edge gateways, device identity).
- Enable plant integrations in partnership with engineering and maintenance teams.

- Demonstrated success enabling machine/PLC - programable logic controller connectivity and industrial data integration from a corporate IT layer in coordination with plant resources
- IoT/Industrial Platforms: Hands-on with Ignition, ThingWorx, and comparable platforms; Kepware/OPC UA, MQTT brokers (Sparkplug B), and edge gateway tooling.

Here are some of those main responsibilities for this role:
Oversee internal infrastructure including data centers, networks, telephony, storage and end user computing.
Perform server administration across a mixed OS environment (Linux and Windows).
Provide support in problem prevention and resolution for complex infrastructure issues for enterprise infrastructure groups.
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, and backups to ensure availability, performance, and security. This should also include performance tuning, patching, incident response & compliance.
Automate deployments and maintenance using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.

Here are the things we are seeking in a candidate:
Experience managing Linux and Windows servers, automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
Experience with AWS (setups of AWS environments, configs and so on) is an absolute must have for this role.
Experience with Tanium is an absolute must have for this role as well.
Familiarity with NIST, SOC 2, or PCI standards and implementation of least-privilege access controls.
At least 5 years of experience of Systems Administration experience (this is a must have / gotta have). The more experience, the better. However, I am going to be more interested in breadth and depth of experience than true 'years' of experience. So, if you have 5-6 years of Sys Admin experience where you were the only Sys Admin for an environment, that will be more important than someone with 9 years of experience...but was on a team of 20 Sys Admins.
Certifications like: Proxmox, VMWare, AWS: Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect, CloudOps Engineer, and Solutions Architect are things that the hiring manager is really seeking.

POSITION OVERVIEW

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Diagnose and resolve problems associated with application software and operating systems.
Monitor network operational status and verify system availability for members and staff.
Monitor and review escalations from Security Monitoring Solutions and report to appropriate channels.
Installation and support of Windows Servers.
Installation and support of Linux Servers.
Test and deploy hardware and software.
Install, configure and maintain server appliance hardware and software.
Review detected Risks and provide solutions for remediation or mitigation.
Monitor, test and deploy security updates and patching.
Provide escalation support and backup for Support Specialists.
Assist with management of Active Directory environment, configure Group Policies for automated deployment of applications, updates, and configuration of desktop systems.
Assist with managing and supporting network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches.
Provide guidance and solutions for surveillance system.
Handle purchasing of IT equipment, supplies.
Distribute reports and information to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
Assist in designing and implementing network & server solutions for Credit Union Services.
Provide guidance and direction to Junior Staff as needed.
Performs other duties as request by the VP of Network and Server Administration.

REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a Bachelor Degree in a related field or have seven to ten years of job-related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be acceptable. This position requires the individual to understand most capabilities of Windows Server including its Roles and Features. Thorough understanding of Windows Registry and File System. Linux server management. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification with an understanding of dynamic routing and first hop routing protocols is desired.
