THROUGH A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES AND THE USE OF NATURAL SURROUNDINGS, YMCA CAMPING SEEKS TO HELP PARTICIPANTS ACHIEVE THEIR FULLEST POTENTIAL IN SPIRIT, MIND, AND BODY. AS IN THE CASE OF OTHER YMCA PROGRAMS, FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT AFFORD THE CUSTOMARY FEE, AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS ARE WELCOME. APPROXIMATELY 17% OF THE OVER 1,200 YOUTH CAMPERS RECEIVED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS ALSO UTILIZE THE CAMP.
