Well, the cons NOW are probably low wages at a new plant under new ownership. I cant imagine it being little more than a Tyson Texas sweatshop anymore.
I can't now think of one.
CEO; Served his function. Team;Promises of longterm solutions to longterm production problems went unkept. (note; the company structure is entirely different, now. So who knows?)
I don't suspect it is in a position to be improved. By that I mean, the company structure is probably much different now.
The hiring process is entirely different now and it's being handled by an entirely different company in essence. My notes here would not help.
In my experience the compensation at the company was about 1/4 below industry standard.
Diversity was never a challenge at EDI. I think I might have heard one orthagonally racist comment my entire time there and I don't even think it was born of hatred but more of the general ignorance of the one person who said it. Everyone got along racially. I don't think this is actually a problem in America or certainly not as much as it has been made out to be.
Personally the most fulfilling aspect of working at EDI was working with quality groups despite leadership deficiencies. Getting something done correctly is always good for the bottom line.
