What will you be responsible for?
* Grow a book of business through identifying, sourcing, and developing relationships with prospective clients.
* Manage a high volume of outbound phone calls to sell Echo's transportation solutions, negotiate rates, and service your existing client network.
* Effectively utilize Salesforce and Echo's proprietary software to handle daily operational tasks such as client prospecting, invoicing, and tracking shipments.
* Build relationships with internal departments to ensure Echo is growing with and ahead of industry standards
* Onboard new and existing carrier accounts onto EchoDrive, Echo's web portal and mobile app for carriers

This job currently operates in a hybrid office environment. It also requires occasional travel outside of typical work hours to company events, client sites, and carrier locations, to record video testimonials or take photographs for marketing purposes. This role requires the use of a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.

What You'll Do
Manage and grow your book of business (we make transitioning accounts seamless)
Develop new customer relationships through prospecting, referrals, and industry networks
Sell a broad range of packaging solutions including common supplies, custom packaging, design support, equipment, and pallets
Partner closely with leadership for pricing, sourcing, and vendor strategy
Work closely with CSM team to create and strengthen long-term client partnerships
Identify cost savings, packaging improvements, and operational efficiencies for customers and our business
Ensure our clients receive accurate quotes, quick turnaround, and reliable follow-through

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Meet with potential customers or businesses at their home or office to advise on all aspects of the relocation process, perform surveys of items to be relocated, and provide timely and accurate estimates/pricing.
Provide timely follow-up on company-generated leads and potential customers.
Develop independent sales leads through community and business networking.
Work with others to update and maintain sales management tools and tracking mechanisms.
Clearly and accurately communicate customer's needs and expectations to operations, management, and move coordinators.
Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Work closely with move coordinators to ensure customer satisfaction and maximize sales opportunities.
Tend to service issues, including those that arise outside of normal business hours.
Maintain and create reports to track individual activity and productivity (e.g., closing statistics)
Attain sales goals, closing rations, and complete sales reports.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
You have experience in household goods relocation sales or business development.
You are passionate about providing excellent service to internal and external customers.
You have demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives.
You have strong interpersonal communication skills.
Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends.
Ability and willingness to travel to client homes and/or businesses within a 50-mile radius of office.

OVERVIEW: The successful Sales Consultant will demonstrate the advantages and benefits, and strategically position the company in the marketplace in order to sell new and used products. KEY TASKS:
* Enthusiastically embrace the company's values
* Establishes and maintains good long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale.
* Develop long-term relationships with customers
* Acquire full knowledge of complete product line, features and accessories available for purchase
* Shows product in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrates boats on the water
* Follows the sales process to improve selling skills, including prospecting for new customers and follow-up on customers previously contacted.
* Diligently inputs and maintains accurate and comprehensive customer and prospect information into the IDS system and utilizes data on a consistent basis to generate sales.
* Accurately computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance and license fee. Works with the Business Manager to communicate the requirements for financing the purchase
* Project a professional and knowledgeable image at all times
* Oversee the delivery of each unit sold
* Introduce customers to the dealership team to emphasize the quality and efficiency of dealership's service operations
* Professionally lead and support customer events including Getaways
* Actively participate in boat shows and other off-site promotions
* Demonstrate basic Seamanship skills
* Successfully complete all required training programs including Brainshark modules.
