A proud PEI native, David is a graduate of the University of Prince Edward Island. In his 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and investor relations, there are few industries he hasn't touched: SaaS with Achievers and LiveHive Systems, hardware and software with PixStream and Intercon Security), banking with BMO and AT&T Capital, and public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand. Beyond numbers, David is also passionate about the people behind the work: thinking up the best ways to recruit, engage, and retain top talent. Because he's just as dedicated to keeping his A-team outside of work happy, you can often catch him on the slopes with his wife and two daughters.

Scott is the Executive Vice President, Supply Chain and Partner Management at Kobo. He is responsible for leading all elements of the global supply chain and operations, which include forecasting, vendor management, inventory, cost management, distribution, and compliance; in addition, he is responsible for strengthening and building the company’s relationships with retail partners around the world. Utilizing his supply chain experience, he established business processes specifically built to efficiently support Kobo’s global expansion and distribution needs, while improving flexibility and reducing costs. He works closely with the company’s global partners to further drive sales of Kobo’s products, which include E Ink eReaders, Android tablets, and accessories.
