The role of Director of Water Treatment Engineering Design is vital in ensuring that we deliver engineering solutions that create the desired outcomes for the Food & Beverage, Light and Heavy industries by delivering integrated water focused engineered solutions and create value for Ecolab. What You Will Do: Strategic Lead the development of water circularity engineered solutions that support the reduction of water use in manufacturing operation, including reclaiming and reusing water from wastewater treatment plants. Join the Ecolab team in the Joliet, IL chemical manufacturing plant as the Senior Automation & Controls Engineer. As a member of our team, you will help support and transform the chemical manufacturing culture to an efficient and effective workplace, implementing processes and tools using Total Production Management (TPM) strategies. What You Will Do: Provide engineering / technical support to manufacturing and maintenance operations in the troubleshooting, rebuilding and repair of electrical equipment and automated systems using digital multimeters and other electrical tools. Provide engineering background for continuous improvement of manufacturing operations through the design, selection and installation of new equipment and systems as well as the improvement of existing equipment. The Material Handler is responsible for the movement of material throughout the site. This may include loading/unloading of trailers and movement of raw materials, work in process, and finished goods. This role is on C Shift, 11PM-7AM, Monday through Friday. What You Will Do: * Complete cycle counts and reconciliations * Run various reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis including morning production reports, weekly cycle counting reports, and monthly variance reports * Conduct audits on production sheets and other pertinent inventory documents to verify accuracy * Manage off-spec and old material to ensure proper work-off or disposal of material, conduct scrapping of materials, and track the disposition purpose * Coordinate and lead physical inventories * Help with sampling efforts from the Materials Control side * Count and review label stock to ensure proper stock * Keep track of pallet counts and order pallets when needed * Assist in daily activities including labeling, counting, planning, etc. as needed. * Manage virtual inventories and shipments in SAP, audit production receipts and receiving amounts to verify accuracy in SAP, clear SAP error logs, and train personnel on SAP transactions including inventory and warehouse management systems. * Active role in the WMS implementation and sustainment of the system * Follow all safety and plant procedures and policies * Other duties as assigned Position Details: * Plant location: Bedford Park, IL (Clearing) * Work week and shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:30PM * Some flexibility in schedule required for this role * Compensation offered: $24.00/hour Minimum Qualifications: * High School diploma or equivalent * 3 years of Inventory Management or Supply Chain experience * SAP experience * Forklift experience Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in supply chain operations or related field * Excel and Power BI experience Annual or Hourly Compensation Range The pay range for this position is $48,800.00 - $73,300.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
