About Food Retail Services (FRS)

We are an integral part of our customers' food safety programs at both the corporate and store level, driving insights and delivering maximum food safety protection.
Ecolab is seeking a Territory Representative to join our Global Food Retail Services team in Toledo, OH market. In this customer-facing role, you'll deliver Ecolab's industry-leading cleaning and sanitation programs, identify food safety risks, and help prevent the spread of foodborne illnesses. You'll manage a territory of customers, grow sales through service excellence and new product introductions, install and maintain equipment, and provide hands-on training and audits that drive operational success and customer satisfaction.
How You'll Make an Impact:
Install and maintain equipment and collateral to ensure proper function and appearance
Complete food safety audits based on the customer's required visit frequency and evaluate each department for compliance
Facilitate the sale of Ecolab products by making suggestions for improvements with existing products and new innovations
Train customers on use of Ecolab products and services
Maintain positive relationships with customers by evaluating their needs with a focus on sales opportunities
Position Details:
This is a field-based position and may require travel to the following locations and surrounding areas: Jackson, Ann Arbor, Monroe, Toledo, Bowling Green, Findlay, Defiance
Overnight Travel: 1-2 overnights per month
Weekend Coverage: Responsible for weekend coverage 1 in every 12 weeks

Physical Requirements of Position:
Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds
Driving and/or flying to client locations as needed; you are responsible to have the proper documentation to fly such as a Real ID or other acceptable form of identification
Working in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas, and extreme temperatures
Climbing ladders and performing physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing for extended periods

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $58,700-$88,100 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.

**Essential Job Functions**

+ Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage by delivering presentations and demonstrations.
+ Routinely attend procedures/cases in hospital operating rooms and advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs of physicians' and OR staff.
+ Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory in order to attain quota.
+ Partner with Clinical, Field Clinical Reps, Marketing, R&D and other business units to identify selling opportunities and present to potential clients.
+ Conduct consultative sales calls with Interventional Cardiologists, and Vascular Surgeons.
+ Build and maintain solid customer relationships.
+ Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and ability to speak clinically to physicians at a high level.
+ Complete and processes timely reports including but not limited to: sales summary reports, expense reports, monthly product tracking reports, careful account targeting reports, and complaint reports in accordance with established procedures and policies.
+ Maintain company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred). May substitute 3 years' cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience.
+ Successful Sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, coronary sales experience with peripheral influence preferred but not required.
+ Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
+ Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within the assigned territory in conjunction with near-term plans to ensure the territory's objectives are achieved.
+ Establishes and maintains relationships with customers, hospitals and physicians. Obtain new users for company products and services.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

+ The base pay range for this position is $120,000.

The Neuroscience Sales Representative has overall responsibility for meeting or exceeding sales expectations within their assigned geographies in an ethical and compliant manner. The NSR is responsible for understanding and identifying customer needs, aligning marketing resources and supporting pull-through activities. They are also accountable for embodying and communicating Intra-Cellular's corporate vision of delivering innovative treatments to improve the lives of individuals with neuropsychiatric, neurologic, and other disorders to improve the lives and reduce the burden on patients and caregivers.
The Neuroscience Sales Representative will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. Additionally, they will have responsibility for the creation of local strategic and tactical plans, differential resource allocation, and accountability for effective application of budget and expense management within their assigned territory.

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Following compliance guidelines, drives sales performance to ensure sales forecasts are met or exceeded within assigned territory by calling on predominantly Primary Care HCP offices and select PC targets within both in-person and virtually.
+ Develop superior product and disease state knowledge and effectively educate and engage healthcare professionals in dialogue about clinical evidence, approved indications, and product efficacy/safety profiles to support on-label prescribing for appropriate patients.
+ Effectively uses assigned budgets to achieve territory objectives. Customizes discussions and client interactions based on customer's needs in a compliant and ethical manner.
+ Function independently with sales proficiency to drive sales performance and ensure sales forecasts and assigned budgets meet or exceed therapeutic and territory expectations.
+ Maintains current understanding of local market, practice structures, evolving customers, and key influencers. Routinely shares such information with relevant internal Intra-Cellular stakeholders.
+ Provides input into resource allocation decisions across customers/region. Identifies and selects programs/resources available and appropriate for each customer, practice, and/or system.
+ Provides special education to healthcare providers through appropriate programs that fall within ITCI's ethical guidelines.
+ Works with District Manager and key stakeholders to develop a local business plan that ensures achievement of all business objectives. Capitalizes on formulary approvals and other business opportunities through effective implementation of the strategic plan.
+ Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II's on common objectives and sharing of best practices.
+ Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.
+ Expected to meet or exceed all NSR deliverables.
+ Effectively create and build a compliant business plan based on depth and breadth of customer business needs, resources and products.
+ Complete all company and job-related training as assigned within the required timelines.

**Job Requirements:**
+ Must have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university as well as a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000 - $130,000 annually
