The Electro-mechanical Assembler performs electronic and mechanical assembly, software installation, and testing for Econolite's traffic controller products. The successful candidate must have some experience with assembling electrical components or comfortable with electrical parts - someone who likes breaking things and then repairing them. DUTIES Follow documented work instructions to perform electronic and mechanical assembly for traffic controllers. Perform bench tests and environmental tests for traffic controllers and report any test failures or issues encountered. Install controller software. Attach correct labels to the products and various subassemblies. Perform packaging for traffic controllers as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic and mechanical product assembly and testing preferred. Technical training and certification preferred. Dexterity with hand tools, hand soldering equipment, and other typical electronic assembly tools. Proficiency in following documented work instructions and attention to detail. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate well with peers and supervisors. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and bend at the waist for extended periods of time Ability to handle small components and use hand tools effectively for extended periods of time. Performing repetitive tasks such as screwing, soldering, or wiring. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Safety sensitive position-will be required to work with electrical components. COMPENSATION The base pay range for this full-time non-exempt position is $20.00 - $22.00 per hour plus benefits. This Account Executive role is responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships across the New York and Connecticut territories. The candidate will be responsible for being the primary point-of-contact, from the field on all project pursuits within the region; they will assist with the formation of project teams, analyze requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), generate proposals, estimate project scopes, and provide product management support for CV-specific products sold by Econolite. The ideal candidate will have a 5+ years of experience in engineering and/or account management. Leveraging their experience to cultivate relationships within existing agencies and utilize their engineering background in selling to other engineers and technical departments. DUTIES Serve as the point-of-contact for Econolite and key clients. Review RFPs, RFIs and other requests for information, relative to department. Generate proposals and presentations for training purposes. Generate proposals and presentations for sales opportunities. Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to customers in the New York and Connecticut markets. Serve as a project management resource. Analyze plans and schematics for the purpose of making recommendations and proposals. Conduct Systems product presentations, for business development or training purposes. Maintain close liaison and cooperative relationship with all Econolite's sales and agent personnel and facilitate all necessary technical assistance. The ideal candidate will also prioritize stockroom, inventory control and transportation functions. They will train, monitor employee KPI's and review with Manager as required. This person will work with the manager on work schedules, reporting monthly data required and continuous improvements. He/she must be a detail-oriented person with a “can do” attitude and tenacity to resolve challenges that impact company goals and objectives. What you will be doing: Delegation of daily priorities based on production schedules, operations requirements and other duties assigned by Manager Interface with other department leads and/or managers on work orders or kit shortages that could impact production support Coordinate daily cycle counts, ensure minimum counts are completed, and investigate discrepancies.
