Ensure product meets drawings, manufacturer's specifications, cosmetic criteria. Segregating received material, and visually inspecting them. Identify broken/missing components after comparing them to Engineering drawings. Pack, unpack, count, and confirm integrity of incoming materials (Hardware/PCBs), including shipping and receiving. Creating spreadsheets for various types of PCBs including given description and serial numbers. Learn how to use D365, for internal system transactions. Modify ISO Documentation. QUALIFICATIONS Technical knowledge or certification, preference in electronics. Periodic calibration and ESD testing of production tools Has the motivation to learn more about different types of boards for physical inspection. Has the eye for hardware visual inspection, as in missing screws or apparent paint/dimensional failure. Ability to handle metal parts and PCBs considering ESD safety. Previous Quality related role in a manufacturing environment preferred. Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Computer knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel and Word minimum) Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. DUTIES: * Serves as the first line of Econolite's demand generation resources, initial touch point for customer inquiries, and advises customers of any changes to an order * Manages the order life cycle for assigned Account Manager's or Territory's customers * Fulfill orders for replacement and commodity products * Maintains record of all relevant touchpoints with customers in Econolite's CRM * Assists or contacts any departments such as Accounting, Planning, Shipping and Engineering with requests pertaining to Sales Orders for information needed to satisfy customers and contractors requests * Researchers claim orders for applicability of warranty coverage * Prepares and submits RMA's (Return Material Authorizations), RA's (Repair Authorizations) and any approved credits. * Exercises judgment in determination of amount and applicability of credit * Provide training to other members of the Inside Sales organization as needed * Performs other duties as required and assigned * Use available data reporting tools to monitor key business data such as estimated ship date changes, bookings anomalies, customer order information, and historical data lookup. The Electrician will be expected to work on Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) related projects. Specific types of work include conducting Preventative Maintenance checks and repairs on Traffic Signals, Flashing Beacons, Solar Radar Feedback signs, Street Lighting and other electrical components as required by the customer. DUTIES Willingness and capability to work on traffic signals street lights and other Intelligent Transportation Equipment, using a bucket truck Inspect, install and maintain electrical components Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices such as traffic signal circuits, cabinets, transformers, circuit breakers, services, streetlight luminaires, CCTV, communications equipment, Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code Performs other duties as required and assigned QUALIFICATIONS Current/Active NEC Certification (Required). Experience in Fiber Optic splicing, termination, and installation. Knowledge of utilizing fiber optic splicing equipment and splicing methodologies. Must have a clean driving record. IMSA certifications preferred Ability to exert moderate physical effort, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds) C10 Electrical contractors license helpful, but not required. DUTIES: Manage, maintain, and enhance the DevOps systems and software build infrastructure. Ensure availability and optimal performance of all build systems and pipelines. Build and support the necessary development systems and infrastructure to meet the needs of the Embedded Software Engineering and Software Quality Assurance teams. Evaluate the current DevOps systems, propose improvements, and undertake enhancement/migration projects as needed. Alongside other engineers, work on the embedded Linux kernel, device drivers, system components, and board support packages powering the traffic controller and detection software applications. Write efficient code, review pull requests, and debug issues. Develop low-level/system-level unit tests and performance tests, as necessary. Contribute to the Engineering Wiki by documenting system architecture/topology, technical plans/designs, and system use/test instructions. Work closely with the rest of the Engineering team as well as Product Management and ensure stakeholder needs are met in a timely manner. Plan, commit, communicate, and deliver work products on schedule.
