1925

The vision at EcoWater Systems has remained consistent since 1925: build strong relationships with its customer network and provide the best water treatment products available.

In 1959, the firm was purchased by the Union Tank Car Company.

1963

The first softeners that removed excess iron while also softening were introduced at the 1963 dealer convention – The Royal Princess and The Crown Princess

1969

From 1969 to the present, the company has grown by expanding its dealer network and various other sales channels, as well as through acquisition.

1984

Mike and Vicki Johanneck began Johanneck Water back in the fall of 1984.

1988

The EcoWater Systems name was first used in 1988, seven years after the company became a member of the Marmon Group.

1995

By 1995, the downtown location was starting to feel a little cramped so Mike and Vicki decided to move to their current, more spacious location on the busiest edge of Redwood Falls, where they happily remained until…

2004

Marmon, ranked 26th on the Forbes 2004 list of largest privately held companies, is committed to making significant investments in EcoWater R&D and in state-of-the-art manufacturing processes.

2007

In 2007, they discovered that the EcoWater Systems dealership in Willmar was available for purchase, and Mike, Vicki, Scott, and Jay took a leap of faith and became Johanneck Water Conditioning, Inc.
