Position Overview:

As a Warranty Administrator you play a vital role in the service department and contribute to the success of the dealership by being responsible for all processes involving warranty claims.
What You'll Do:
Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor
Close and process repair orders for warranty and extended warranty services
Input all warranty claims, warranty credit memos, warranty journal entries and payroll summaries into the computer
Maintain all special programs for the franchises
Accurately create and send reports on a weekly basis
Transmit franchise credit memo statements
Verify criteria required by factory or distributor
Reconcile all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule
Resubmit all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off
Follow up on payment of outstanding claims, keeping schedules current and under 30 days and less
File and maintain all service records as required
Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins
Assist with any clerical needs
Adhere to work schedule including working late for end of month and year end deadlines
