Additional Notes:
This role is part of a 9-month project involving a mix of local and regional travel. Local trips will be within driving distance, allowing the technician to return home daily.
During regional assignments, candidates will fly to client sites and travel overnight from Sunday to Thursday, returning home at the end of the week.
The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM, with Friday reserved for a remote meeting with the team lead upon returning home. Overtime may be required based on project workload.
A valid state driver's license (Real ID compliant), a clean MVR, and a reliable personal vehicle are mandatory for daily travel.
Electro-mechanical and printer hardware support experience are the top required technical skills; lack of printer repair experience has been a challenge in previous hiring cycles.

Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Assistant to provide both front and back office support in a fast-paced outpatient healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care while ensuring efficient daily operations within the clinic.
Responsibilities
Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations
Obtain and document vitals, perform venipuncture, draw blood, and administer vaccines
Conduct EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and managing EMR documentation
Support healthcare providers with clinical procedures as needed
Maintain strong collaboration with clinical and administrative staff
Contribute to health education, outreach, and patient experience initiatives
Qualifications
2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience (externship not included) - required
Medical Assistant Certification - strongly preferred
Occupational Health experience - highly preferred
Proficient in phlebotomy/venipuncture, EMR systems, scheduling, vitals, EKG, and POC testing
BLS or CPR certification - required
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and computer proficiency

PREREQUISITES
Education: Some high school or equivalent
Experience: No previous experience required
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
