As a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide at Edenbrook of Green Bay you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Your attention to detail and dedication will contribute to the overall well-being of those in our care. Position: Housekeeping/Laundry Aide (Full-time) - Shift schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (block schedules) Housekeeping/Laundry Aides (Part-time) - Shift schedule: 1 day a week and every other weekend Essential Functions: Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and other areas of the facility. Safely mix, use, and store cleaning solutions according to safety guidelines. Properly label and remove infectious waste bags and containers, ensuring compliance with facility protocols. Perform additional cleaning or maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Conduct all job responsibilities in accordance with the standards outlined in the Company's Code of Business Conduct, its policies and procedures, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable federal and state laws, and professional standards. Laundry Responsibilities: Collect, sort, and launder resident clothing and linens in accordance with infection control procedures. Fold and return clean laundry to appropriate areas and residents. Maintain the cleanliness of laundry equipment and laundry room. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job. Effective communication skills to interact with residents, family members, and facility staff. Knowledge of infection control procedures and ability to implement them in daily tasks. Ability to remain patient, polite, and professional at all times, particularly when interacting with residents. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time.
