He has almost 20 years of experience developing and leading innovative technology companies that have operated in the identity management market. In 2000, he founded Waveset Technologies, a pioneer in the identity management market. Following the acquisition of Waveset by Sun Microsystems (“Sun”) in 2003, Mr. McClain served as Vice President of Software Marketing for Sun. His career also includes experience in international sales and marketing with HP (NYSE: HPQ) and IBM Tivoli Systems.
