Position Overview
As an Electrical Apprentice, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of experienced electricians. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to electrical codes, and a willingness to learn the trade. You will be expected to support journeymen and foremen in various tasks while gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills.
As an apprentice Electrician you will:
Assist with the installation of electrical raceways, wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
Pull wires, mount panels, and help with electrical terminations.
Follow work instructions and safety procedures as directed by supervisors and foremen.
Use and maintain protective equipment and safety gear provided.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and work orders.
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit using various tools.
Help troubleshoot electrical issues and assist in repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in training and educational opportunities to advance technical skills.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
Valid Apprentice License.
Previous experience in electrical work.
Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
Standing for extended periods.
Climbing ladders and working at heights.
Working in noisy, dusty, or extreme weather conditions.
Lifting or moving objects up to 75 lbs.
Occasional travel may be required depending on project location.
Possible overtime and night work as needed.

All job site employees participate and drive safety initiatives such as tool-box talks and operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices for our people. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Travel: 60-75%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.

The Technical Training Consultant is responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of Learning & Development technical and/or trade-related training and services. This includes: coordination and facilitation of technical and/or trade-related classes, design and development of technical and/or trade-related curriculum, jobsite audits, and on-site/jobsite coaching and training. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Travel: Up to 25%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday - Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively facilitates electrical apprenticeship, QuickStart, and trade-related training classes.
Collaborates with Apprenticeship Team to research and recommend content, develop, pilot, and implement new technical and/or trade-related training and development programs.
Designs and develops technical and/or trade-related curriculum, based on organizational needs.
Conducts jobsite or on-site coaching and development of employees (related to audits and/or to assist with novel work or jobs in crisis).
Develops relationships with operational leaders that facilitate open dialogue and trust.
Supports and provides guidance to Apprenticeship Coordinator in the coordination of the apprenticeship programs, as needed.
Works with L&D team and subject-matter experts to continuously improve the content, activities, and delivery of L&D technical and/or trade-related programs.
Continually increases knowledge of L&D craft.
Actively participates in professional and trade-related organizations.

General Overview
A second - fourth year electrical apprentice is responsible for various electrical installation tasks including installing raceways, pulling wire, mounting equipment, installing and completing finished electrical products such as lights and switches and more. All tasks are to be completed under the guidance of a licensed journeyman electrician and on the job training will be provided. Second-fourth year apprentices are expected to work diligently both on the job and on their schooling to gather the proper and required knowledge and experience for becoming a qualified journeyman electrician.
Responsibilities
Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Carlton Electric and other customer safety requirements and policies.
Actively works to acquire the skills and knowledge required to be a successful electrician via on the job training, mentoring and classroom work.
Completes work with a focus on safety, quality, and a sense of urgency.
Performs semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
Uses various hand tools, site tools and safety equipment as needed on the job site.
Maintain tools and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order.
Develops a working understanding of blueprints.
Develops a working knowledge of circuitry and electrical theory.
Develops a basic understanding and working understanding of the national electrical code, depending on previous experience.
Develops a basic understanding and working understanding of lighting control systems depending on previous experience.
Develops a basic understanding and working understanding of fire alarm systems depending on previous experience.
Dig trenches for running underground electrical systems.
Performs with wire and cable pulls.
Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite.
Troubleshoot electrical issues with wiring and equipment, depending on level of knowledge and experience.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Must have at least 2,000 recorded hours for a second year apprentice; at least 4,000 recorded hours for a third year apprentice; at least 6,000 recorded hours for a fourth year apprentice.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a reliable transportation method.
Must be able to pass a drug screen at any given point in time.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must possess mechanical and technical aptitude and a passion for working with your hands.
Must demonstrate a focus on safety, quality, and goal attainment.
Must be self-motivated, teachable, punctual, respectful, able to follow directions and be an ideal team player.

The Faith Apprentice I is responsible for electrical and specialty systems installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well-versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). Our job site professionals thrive under self-directed management to complete projects safely and on time. All job site employees participate and drive safety initiatives such as tool-box talks and operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices for our people. Our crews rely on teamwork to drive results through strategic use of partnerships and planning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Travel: 60-75%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travels to customer premises to install, maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical and specialty systems.
Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
Performs wire and cable pulls.
Demonstrates appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice.
Assists with material handling duties on the job site.
Provides technical assistance to other apprentices as needed.
Maintains compliance with company policies.
Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.
Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and job site.
Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

The Faith Apprentice I is responsible for electrical and specialty systems installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well-versed knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). Our job site professionals thrive under self-directed management to complete projects safely and on time. All job site employees participate and drive safety initiatives such as tool-box talks and operational risk management meetings to proactively identify safe practices for our people. Our crews rely on teamwork to drive results through strategic use of partnerships and planning.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred
Travel: 60-75%
Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Travels to customer premises to install, maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical and specialty systems.
Installs and bends conduit using manual, mechanical, and hydraulic benders.
Performs wire and cable pulls.
Demonstrates appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice.
Assists with material handling duties on the job site.
Provides technical assistance to other apprentices as needed.
Maintains compliance with company policies.
Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements.
Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and job site.
Actively participates in Faith's hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Compensation
$32+ per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Perform onsite work as directed by field supervisors & foremen
Erect and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and devices in buildings
Install electrical components according to building codes and regulations
Work with other electricians and contractors to install lighting fixtures and devices
Diagnose electrical problems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
Test circuits to determine whether they are live or dead
Measure voltage, amperage, resistance, and phase displacement using electrical instruments
Knowledgeably discuss the implications of installing various types of wiring
Ensure that the work is done by the code, including the National Electrical Code
Qualifications:
Tenant Improvement experience (Class A)
Ability to complete jobs from start to finish
Experience with nLight, Wattstopper, Douglas, and Blue Box lighting controls
5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or residential
TDLR Journeyman Electrician License (preferred, but not required)
Efficiency in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and making repairs promptly
Experience in the installation of electrical panel systems, conduit, wiring, and fixtures
Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment
Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Willingness to submit to and pass a drug screen
