Alex is an active tech entrepeneur, investor, husband and father. Alex is the Founder & CEO of OpenPath Security Inc. A technology startup focused on office automation and security. Prior to OpenPath he was the CEO & Co-Founder of EdgeCast Networks. EdgeCast became one of the leading global content delivery networks, carrying 7% of the Internet traffic, operating in 20 countries, while accelerating and delivering the largest and most demanding websites such as Twitter, Tumblr, Dell, Sony, and Hulu. EdgeCast was acquired by Verizon, where Alex spent 2 years helping shape the strategy of Verizon Digital Media Services. Prior to co-founding EdgeCast, he was a Co-Founder & CEO of KnowledgeBase, a SaaS based enterprise knowledge management company which was acquired by Talisma Corporation in 2005. Before starting KnowledgeBase, Alex founded HostPro, which was acquired by Micron Electronics (MUEI) in 1999.With more than twenty years of leadership experience in information technology and business operations, Alex has successfully led a number of business initiatives that include developing core technology solutions and bringing them to market, as well as managing day-to-day business, marketing, sales and support operations. For his leadership he has received numerous awards including E&Y's entrepreneur of the year award in 2014. Additionally, he has extensive application development, security and internet infrastructure experience, for which he has been awarded 23 patents. Alex is an active investor in several venture capital funds, and has served on boards of private and public companies.

Jay has 12 years of technology-related expertise and is a proven serial entrepreneur. He most recently served as the co-founder and chief architect at IP3 Networks, a Sequoia Capital-backed visitor-based networking company. At IP3, Jay built the entire VBN router and technology and filed several patents. Prior to IP3, he served as chief network architect for iWay Broadband, an in-building broadband deployment internet service provider based in San Diego. Before iWay, Jay worked with Alex, Phil and Lior as a key member of the HostPro technology team, where he was the network architect for HostPro Los Angeles. HostPro provided a variety of hosting services including backup and recovery, system monitoring and reporting as well as applications hosting and e-commerce solutions. Jay was instrumental in creating and managing these technologies and the supporting network infrastructure as well as the design of a 20,000 square foot data center and 24x7 network operations center. Jay resides in Los Angeles.

Lior is a serial entrepreneur with several companies under his belt, all with very successful exits. Along with his partners Alex Kazarani and Marc Afsharieh, Lior co-founded HostPro (now Web.com) which grew into a leading hosting provider in the industry with over 70,000 customers. After HostPro, Lior co-founded KnowledgeBase, and EdgeCast with Alex Kazarani, Phil Goldsmith, James Segil and Jay Sakata. At all three companies he has been the chief architect responsible for designing and implementing key patented technologies that are now critical to the backbone of the Internet and are used by many Fortune 500 customers. With more than twenty years of leadership and business experience bringing to market many of the systems that power the Internet, Lior has directed and guided teams developing everything from back-office systems to the core technologies of the business. While working on his Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, Lior closely worked with inVia Robotics co-founders Dan and Rand on various robotics and neuroscience projects. These DARPA funded projects ranged from object recognition for drones, implementing the star-wars binoculars used to help soldiers in field, to the latest DARPA Robotic Challenge. Working on strict metrics and deadlines from DARPA, the projects often included implementations of massive parallel grid computing which were used to achieve the required results in real time. The development of these projects led to the Neuromorphic Robotics Toolkit (NRT) which has been designed to outperform the Robotic Operating System (ROS). Currently on a leave of absence from the Ph.D., Lior holds a Masters in Robotics from the University of Southern California and has several publications ranging from neuroscience to robotics.

Ariff Sidi is a Chief Product Officer at EdgeCast Networks Inc. He has experience at Disney Interactive and ABC Television Group and has worked as Senior VP:Digital Products & Platforms at Fox Networks Group. Ariff works or has worked at THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY.

Mike Kleiman joined Verimatrix from Verizon Digital Media Services, where he served as COO of the New Products Division. In December 2013 Verizon acquired EdgeCast Networks, of which Mike served as both COO and CFO, overseeing its stellar growth as the company became a leading global content delivery network (CDN). Prior to EdgeCast, Mike was CFO/GM at HostPro, where he led its M&A, datacenter build-out, and growth initiatives. He also served as CFO and then president of SolutionPro, leading the company to profitability through a business restructuring and development of advanced hosting and FTTH services. Prior to HostPro, Mike was VP of Finance and Operations of Scott Sports Group in Switzerland, helping lead the company's funding, growth, M&A, and business and IT restructuring. Mike also spent seven years in ''Big 6'' public accounting and financial consulting as a CPA for Arthur Andersen LLP. Mike has a BS in accounting from Montana State and an executive MBA from Tulane.
