The incumbents are responsible for meeting adult and graduate new student enrollment goals. This position develops and implements adult and graduate recruitment plans in collaboration with Enrollment Management Leadership and executes the student recruitment strategy set by the Associate Vice President for Adult and Graduate Enrollment.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment
* Execute strategies for building the funnel at each stage including increasing inquiries, applicants, and admits.
* Identify barriers or challenges that do not align with an exceptional prospective student experience and collaborate with Enrollment Management Leadership to reduce or eliminate these barriers and challenges.
* Develop high-quality information sessions, organize recruitment events, and other activities to connect with, engage, and inform future students.
* Maintain student record data integrity at all times.
* Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills both in person and in phone conversations
* Ability to communicate the value of an Edgewood College education to prospective students in an impactful way.
* Incumbent must thrive in a fast paced environment where success is defined by quantified territory goals.
* Successful candidate must have availability that allows them to work hours that accommodate the availability of prospective students. Adult and Graduate Admissions Counselors are expected to regularly work as late as 8pm Monday through Thursday.
Collaboration
* Attend regular school and program functions including, but not limited to, faculty meetings and retreats and other meetings deemed necessary.
* Provide regular feedback to supervisor and Marketing department on the quality level of student interactions.
* Work closely with other student support offices on campus to ensure a positive and seamless student experience at every point in the student's enrollment process
* Provide information and collaborate with up Grad and Edgewood College's other strategic partners for supported programs.
Industry Savvy
* Maintain a thorough knowledge about supported academic programs and Edgewood College's differentiators and key selling points by meeting with all the program leads and marketing on a regular basis.
* Development a strong understanding of the health care and business industry in order to speak to prospective students needs and wants.

This role will work in close partnership with the Vice President of Enrollment Management to perform these duties and to collaborate campus wide to implement our recruitment plan. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring progress towards college enrollment goals; assisting in the planning and implementation of special events, representing the admissions office on special committees as well as communicating with prospective students.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning, Policy Development and Data Analysis
* Contribute to the successful accomplishment of the University's enrollment objectives by developing and implementing a comprehensive student recruitment plan for undergraduate students which include, but is not limited to, the following components: development of an inquiry pool through the use of student search services, outreach, high school and community college relations, use of the web and emerging technologies, campus visit programs, publications, and correspondence.
* Prepare and maintain statistics regarding enrollment, geographical distribution of students, financial aid, and attrition. Interpret these statistics, when appropriate share with the broader campus community.
* In consultation with EM leadership, develop data-driven recruitment strategies by effectively utilizing data from a variety of sources to evaluate student characteristics and trends, as well as the University's market position and competition.
Admissions Oversight and Supervision
* Provide leadership, management, and support for the recruitment efforts of the Office of Admissions and develops a competent, productive and effective staff by hiring and supervising, directly and through delegation. .
* Maintain team members level of knowledge on the admissions process, academic programs, Edgewood University's unique features and benefits and campus resources through on-going training.
* Ensures the efficient processing of admission applications by developing and administering policies, procedures, and systems that provide quality admission services for prospective students.
* Facilitates a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds.
* Effectively utilizes University resources in accomplishing enrollment objectives by planning, developing, and controlling the departmental budget.

* Oversee and coordinate admissions for special student populations (e.g. Youth Options).
Institutional Representation
* Represent the Office of Admissions and the Enrollment Management through service on various University committees.
* Co-Chair the Admissions committee and coordinate effectively with academic and administrative units across campus to achieve enrollment goals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Admissions and Enrollment Management.

* Send ACH files to the bank and handle federal tax deposits securely

* Work closely with Benefit Specialist on annual benefit renewal and payroll updates

Faculty may lead instruction or evaluation in nursing skills, health assessment, or simulation debriefing, working with student groups of up to 8. Working Relationships:
Daily direction will be provided by the Security Night Shift Supervisor and/or Director of Security. Interact with students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Work in conjunction with the RHD on Duty, Assistant Dean of Students, and the Dean of Students when applicable. Interact with the Facility Services staff to help resolve mechanical problems on campus. Interact with the Safety Coordinator to assist with monthly fire system testing and monthly fire extinguisher inspections.

Responsibilities:
State Board of Nursing Approval and Clinical Site Management
* Coordinate with School of Nursing Deans, Program Directors, and Clinical Placement Team to secure State Board of Nursing approvals.
* Coordinate with School of Nursing Deans, Program Directors, and Clinical Placement Team to establish and maintain partnerships with clinical agencies that provide appropriate teaching-learning experiences for undergraduate and graduate students.
* Initiate contact and meet with hospital and community personnel to establish new clinical placements, primarily for out-of-state sites.
* Collaborate with community partners to develop and maintain long-term relationships that support clinical education.
* Maintain current affiliation agreements and initiate new contracts with all clinical agencies, including obtaining and maintaining out-of-state clinical approvals.
* Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer, Clinical Coordinators, Associate Deans and Dean regarding academic planning related to clinical resources (faculty, staff, and agency) for undergraduate and graduate programs.

* Collaborate with the Chief Compliance Officer to notify clinical agencies of faculty and student placements each semester and verify compliance with agency and institutional requirements.
* Remain current regarding agency compliance standards for student placements and serve as a resource for students and faculty.
* Stay informed on national standards and CDC guidelines regarding immunization and health documentation policies.
* For graduate students, manage student files and documentation related to preceptor agreements and site approvals.
* Assist in orienting newly assigned faculty to clinical sites, in collaboration with department chairs and site personnel.
Faculty/staff/agency liaison
* Serves as a resource for faculty regarding student placement at clinical agencies.
* Serves as a resource for students regarding academic schedules, clinical selection, and general progression and policy questions.
* Implements clinical selection process each semester, including posting site description options, assignment of clinical sections in collaboration with department heads, and finalizing and posting clinical assignments.
* Communicates clinical changes, concerns, and issues regarding the programs to School of Nursing Deans, Program Directors, and Department Heads.

We cultivate a variety of opportunities for campus engagement that create a well-rounded student experience. The Assistant Director of Student Transition and Leadership is responsible for welcoming incoming students, overseeing student organizational leadership, and building a sense of belonging through student involvement. This includes coordination of Orientation as well as serving as a staff member in the office of Student Involvement which encompasses campus programming and student organizations.
The purpose of the position is to develop, implement, and assess student-centered programs and services to transition new undergraduate students to the Edgewood University campus. This position also serves to promote campus student organizations, including advising Student Senate, and fostering student learning through co-curricular student engagement and leadership. The Assistant Director will assist in budget management appropriate to their specialty areas.
Additional job functions will include outreach to Eagle Families and planning for and attending Student Life sponsored major events and programs.
This is a 12-month, salaried position; regular evening and weekend hours are required, depending on programs, events and student meetings.
Responsibilities:
New Undergraduate Student Orientation
* Lead, plan, and execute the University's Fall and Spring semester undergraduate orientation programs including the new freshmen and transfer student populations.
* Recruit, hire, supervise, and train the orientation student staff and graduate intern(s).
* Coordinate communication and logistics for orientation programming, both online and in person.
* Collaborate with campus partners regarding orientation.
* Administer required online modules provided by an external vendor related to student transition and community standards.
* Work closely with Admissions and Marketing to design and coordinate a comprehensive and seamless communication protocol for new students.
* Create and distribute a periodic Eagle Family newsletter and coordinate Eagle Family transition events as part of Orientation.
* Evaluate processes and delivery of Orientation programs.
* Collaborate with Student Involvement staff to plan and execute Welcome Week programs.
Student Organizational Leadership
* Serve as primary advisor to the Student Senate.
* Serve as the campus administrator overseeing student organizations and the resulting processes and procedures.
* Communicate with and train established student organizations with regard to formation, organization operations and re-recognition processes.
* Assist students in the process of starting new student organizations, including graduate and remote students.
* Serve as the main administrator for the online student engagement platform.
* Assist in the development and updating of manuals and other materials necessary for the operation of the office of Student Involvement.
Civic Engagement and Event Planning
* Lead initiatives to build student knowledge and participation in civic engagement (such as voting) and campus events through the hiring, training and supervision of student workers specific to civic engagement programming and event planning.
* Co-lead Student Life sponsored traditional events and programs (i.e. University Days, Winter Frost).
Administrative and University - Wide Functions
* Help organize and maintain student-centered spaces on campus, including the Student Resource Center and the Wingra recreational area.
* Work in partnership with Student Development staff, Academic Affairs and other campus departments and divisions to develop services and programming that create a sense of belonging and inclusion among our diverse student population.
* Serve as a member of the Student Development staff attending meetings and retreats. Represent the Division of Student Development on division-wide committees, institutional committees, task forces, and groups.
* Serve as a member on University committees, as needed.
* Assist in year-end reporting and assessment with the Director of Student Involvement, focusing on Student Transitions, Involvement and Engagement.
* Participate in campus events as a department and division representative, including events related to admissions and enrollment.
* Actively support mission of Edgewood University and the Division of Student Development.
Professional Development
* Participate in continuous professional development around disability-related issues and best practices in higher education disability and accessibility programs.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Education or Work Experience:
* Bachelor's degree and related combination of experience in student affairs or other related fields focused on university student development required
* Master's degree in education, higher education, student development, or related field preferred
* Minimum of two-years of professional experience, graduate work included, working in the areas of orientation, student involvement, or another functional area with demonstrated transferable skills.
* Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations and students from underrepresented populations.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
* Demonstrated knowledge of student development theories, practices, and current trends/best practices in the area of new student transition.
* Experience with supervision of student staff and/or advising of student leaders.
* Demonstrate competency skills in the areas of Student Involvement including event planning, diversity and inclusion, leadership development, orientation, and student affairs.
* Strong organizational ability, advanced technical and computer skills, interpersonal skills, and high aptitude in oral and written communications.

Specialized Technology Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Must be willing to learn Slate and other internal data management tools.

* Have at least 2 years relevant teaching or related experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities at the secondary or post-secondary level.
* Possess knowledge and skill relating to assessment, development of person centered and individualized course learning plans, creating accommodations and modifications, and Universal Design.

Serves as liaison to stakeholder offices impacted by external academic agreements. In collaboration with Marketing and Communications, updates transfer agreement resources on the institutional website.
* Oversees development of the academic calendar, including the final examination schedule.
* Disseminates information to admissions, marketing, and academic advising staff related to changes in curriculum and program offerings.
* Works collaboratively with Marketing and Communications on developing and revising the academic pages of the institutional website.
* Oversees development of the course timetable.
* Works collaboratively with the Undergraduate and Graduate Curriculum Committees to maintain records of changes in academic policies and procedures.
* Manages low-enrolled course review and tracking process with the Deans' Council prior to the start of each term. Notifies stakeholder offices of changes for tracking and faculty contract purposes.
* Ensures new policies, agreements, and curricular changes maintain compliance with the Higher Learning Commission accreditation standards.
* Serves as the primary point of contact for Academic Affairs with the Office of Information Technology.
* Other duties as assigned by the Provost.
