JOB SUMMARY
To provide each guest with outstanding and personalized customer service, while providing facials, waxing, massage therapy and body treatments with a high skill set.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
The ability to perform all types of skin care, body treatment, massage therapy, & waxing services with knowledge and high skill set.
Must be able to initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
Holds strong understandings of all skin types with the ability to analyze the skin and suggest retail products for home care
Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
Knowledge of other services offered at The LINQ Spa.
Participate and attend all education classes and staff meetings.
Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices
Properly care for equipment and product used
Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings
Ability to compare the different services on the menu
Recommend and up-sell services at the spa facility on property
Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately
Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education
Ability to work unsupervised for extended period
Uphold all protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms including extensive in-between client cleaning procedures
Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy appearance and a positive attitude
Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress
Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and well-organized work area.
Follow all guidelines established by the governing state board.
Understands the importance of punctuality and work readiness
Maintains well maintained spa appearance, cleanliness and ability to work the entire shift in a mask as directed.
Assisting all areas of the spa operation as directed by management
Ability to provide services and skills across any citywide property location.
Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekend, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proper training and certificates for service provided. (Must be able to produce certifications upon hire.)
Two years' experience in a hotel or resort preferred
Fast paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills.
Experience in administering treatments to male and female guests in a professional manner.
Understand and follow Blood Born Pathogen procedures
Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Valid NV Cosmetology License
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to lift up to 10 lbs.
Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 10-hour shift).
Able to work entire shift in a mask and other-directed protective wear
