These documents will include operations, alarm response, emergency operating and abnormal operating procedures. The candidate will obtain process specific training and follow the WIPP facility writer's guide with respect to format, order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology, and participate in verification and validation of procedure usability in the field. The candidate will take direction from the Procedures Operations Manager. The job will require the candidate to interface with the cognizant organization as necessary during all phases of new or revised procedure development. Responsibilities of this position can be categorized as: 1) lead scoping meetings to develop write and deliver SOWs that are attached to purchase requisitions to support the procurement process, and 2) assess technical and functional requirements to develop workflow processes that demonstrate aspects of safety, operations, engineering, environmental, security, quality assurance, cybersecurity and training have been met.
