Conrad Clemson is the CEO of Editshare. EditShare is a leading developer of software aimed at fueling collaboration and improving efficiency in the film and television production industries. Our products include the EditShare File System (EFS) -- a resilient, high-performance, scale-out file system that is becoming a de-facto standard for media and entertainment -- plus powerful workflow automation tools and a private cloud solution that provides remote workers with access to content anywhere in the world, including full timeline video editing

{reviously, Conrad Clemson was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco’s Service Provider Video Software and Services business, where he focused his technical knowledge, strategic planning and leadership skills to advance all areas of the portfolio, from content security to media and over the top (OTT) delivered services. He led a global team of engineers, architects and product line managers and oversees market acceleration and development operations across the expansive technology portfolio.

Before joining Cisco, Clemson was the CEO of BNI Video, a startup which developed products that offer video back-office and content delivery network (CDN) analytic capabilities for service providers. Clemson also completed a successful one-year relationship as an Entrepreneur in Residence with Charles River Ventures, prior to joining BNI.

Earlier in his career, Clemson served as Senior Director of Engineering at Motorola; Senior Vice President of Technical Operations at Broadbus; Executive Vice President and Vice President of Engineering at Gotham Networks; and VP of Engineering at Lucent Technologies.

Throughout his career, Clemson has developed and executed a variety of successful product and solution strategies, with an emphasis on leading technology offerings.

Proven technology leader, working closely with globally distributed engineering teams setting technical direction, advocating best practice, driving quality improvements, and defining the approach for selection and adoption of new technologies. Deep hands-on technical experience in a wide range of programming languages and technologies, kept up-to-date with ongoing research and experimentation.

Experienced Principal Architect building large scale TV platforms using cloud native technologies in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments. Working closely with customers to integrate into their existing operations and enabling DevOps processes for faster delivery of features to end users.

Strong practitioner of all stages of the software delivery life cycle, from initial project vision and scoping, to development, testing, deployment and operations. A keen inventor with four patents granted in the areas of metadata management, intelligent video content generation and video access control.

Advocate of Agile development, taking on lead roles as Product Owner, Architect and Technical Lead. In-depth experience engaging with customers both during program delivery and sales through customer presentations and demonstrations. Excellent communicator who can tailor his message from C-Level through to low-level engineer, working one-to-one, facilitating meetings and presenting at conferences.
