SUMMARY Lay out, fit, assemble and weld forged components using Tig welding standard methods. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. Lay out, position, align, and fit components together. Responsible for quality including first piece and in-process inspections. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shield arc, or gas welding equipment. Assemble parts by fitting and clamping in weld fixture to secure for welding. Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. Must be familiar with the physical characteristics of various metals such as stainless steel, brass, aluminum, iron, etc. Reads blueprint or job order to determine dimensions and specifications. Selects correct welding rod, tips, wire or filler and amperage settings to produce desired results. Verifies conformance to specifications. Produces high quality products by following written and oral instructions. Uses and understands functional fixtures and gages to insure quality products. Must be able to meet production efficiency rates. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None OTHER NECESSARY FUNCTIONS Knowledge of basic inspection equipment such as: Vanier Calipers, Micrometers, Test indicators, etc. Provide feedback to refine and improve processes on an ongoing basis. About you: The Sr. Quality Assurance Manager will have a solid knowledge of food safety systems to include HACCP, QMS/ GFSI requirements, a technical knowledge of food safety regulatory requirements, laboratory testing and product release. The Sr. QA Manager must be able to work independently, work well under pressure, be proactive, and drive multiple projects to completion simultaneously. As one of the Senior Fabricators in Dynapower's Sheet Metal department, you are responsible for all aspects of sheet metal fabrication and the manufacturing of enclosures and panels for our product lines from raw materials. You're great at MIG/TIG welding and using a variety of fabrication equipment, and know how to read and use engineering prints. This is a full-time position with flexible hours, $20-30 per hour start rates, a $2000 signing bonus, and all benefits starting on Day 1!
