The Master Stylist is responsible for engaging with guests, consulting with them on their hair care needs and recommending products and services. Provide excellent customer service:

Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university (or undergraduate equivalency program approved by AMTA).
Board Certified as Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
Previous experience with terminally ill patients / families is highly desireable
Must have reliable automobile, valid driver's license and the minimum state required liability auto insurance.
Responsibilities:
As a Hospice Music Therapist you will:
Complete the music therapy assessment with patient and family when referred in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care
Plan music therapy interventions
Guide the patient in the use of creative therapeutic activities for the purpose of improving or maintaining mental and physical function and quality of life
Evaluate the effectiveness of music therapy services with the patient and / or family-of-choice
Provide in-services to staff, hospitals, nursing homes, and other facilities as requested and determined appropriate by therapist.
As one of the couneslors in the interdisciplinary grou (IDG), the MT servces as the counselor at IDG meetings, participates in on call rotation, and assists with sign ups and consents for newly referred patients
Support the bereavement program at the site level
Required Certifications and Licensures:
Board Certified as Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT)
Must be a licensed driver who can travel to all business locations

The Care Facilitator Supervisor, functioning under the supervision and guidance of the Center Operations Director and/or Clinical Dyad leader, is responsible for organizing and directing the work of the front desk staff, coordinating staff activities and schedules to ensure effective patient care services are provided, and ensuring quality standards are met. Trains, guides and supports Care Facilitators to ensure organizational front desk standards are met and that they have the tools and resources they need to effectively perform their duties. Leads front office center operations including, quality, compliance, human resources, patient experience, and direct supervision of employees. Leads the VIP customer experience from center entry to exit by ensuring our patients and their family members have a pleasant and memorable experience every visit and with every interaction. Establishes and maintains strong professional relationships with internal work partners and external customers; and through strict adherence of established center guidelines and standards provides the best solutions and options for our patients in support of the overall center experience.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads a team of Care Facilitators and other front desk staff. Supervisory tasks included but not limited to setting performance goals, developing top talent, and implementing progressive improvements when needed.

Understands philosophy of patient flow metrics and efficiencies and shares the desired outcomes with all front desk team members
Maintains focus on patient retention and positive customer experience and is available and accessible to both team members and patients
Scheduling Optimization:
Adheres to enterprise scheduling templates and ensures 100% of patients are assigned and scheduled
Top 40 and risk score 70+ patients scheduled at least bi-weekly
IP/ER discharge follow-up scheduled immediately with daily follow-up
Partners with growth team to ensure THV-EE and CMAP scheduling is 100% completed
Ensures care facilitators have the resources needed and clearly defined priorities readily available to them to promote daily success.
As supervisor, serves as a primary contributor in hiring and selection of Care Facilitators and other front desk staff.
Ensures OSHA, clinical and quality standards of ChenMed are met by monitoring performance and implementing corrective
action plans when needed.
Serves as first point of contact and resolution for escalated patient issues/concerns/disputes.
Supports PCP scheduling by ensuring appropriate blocks are in place and double/over/under booking does not occur. Ensure scheduling gaps are attended to and closed in a timely manner.
Reviews ENS notifications and ensure patients receive follow up from their Care Teams.
Examines medical release forms for accuracy and PCP sign off prior to release of medical records. Ensures the e-fax folder is routinely checked and that documents received are correctly uploaded and indexed.
Reviews phone messages to ensure proper and timely routing and follow-up. Ensures after hours messages from patients are recorded in the patient's medical record and followed up on by the appropriate discipline.
Troubleshoots Dashboard, phone, and computer issues.
Orders office and other needed supplies to ensure the Center is properly inventoried, stocked and maintained.
Other responsibilities may include:
Fills in for Care Facilitator as needed for scheduled and unscheduled absences.
Cover various Front Desk tasks and duties in line with business needs
Supports the patient VIP experience by assisting with new patient paperwork and supporting New Patient Welcome and Tours.
Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong business acumen and acuity
Good knowledge and understanding of general Operations standards, functions, methods, techniques, practices, processes and procedures
Understanding of regulatory standards, various local, state and federal laws that apply to the business and where to find information on standards and interpretations

High-Risk Cardiology
High acuity telemetry units
Patients are admitted from ED, CCU, admitting, procedure areas and other hospital units, and from outside hospitals. Most of our patient population is those diagnosed with myocardial infarction requiring cardiac catheterization, congestive heart failure, heart arrhythmias, and pulmonary hypertension.
Cardiac PCU
Most patients are diagnosed with congestive heart failure, heart arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, and other life-threatening conditions. With this known diagnosis many may require cardiac catheterization and stent placement. As a leader in advanced therapies for heart failure, we offer care to pre- and post- heart transplant and Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) patients. This unit specifically cares for readmitted LVADs and manage complex issues like pump clots, stroke, and manage medications.
Vascular Surgery PCU
Our nursing staff provides pre/post-operative care to the wide variety of interventions needed for peripheral vascular disease patients. Surgical services include endoluminal and open repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms, thoracic outlet decompression, carotid artery angioplasty/stenting, carotid endarterectomies, dialysis access (fistulas/grafts), catheter-directed thrombolysis, and various bypasses and stents for aorto-iliac and upper/lower extremity occlusive disease.
Cardiothoracic PCU
Post Thoracic Surgery patients ranging from lung transplants, lung surgeries, and esophagectomy. In addition, we care for the Cardiothoracic population after they stabilize from the ICU. We will take care of Pre/Post CABG, Valve Repairs, Heart transplants, and other surgical procedures.
Cardiac Surgery PCU
We provide post-operative care to cardiac surgery patients. Our most frequent procedures are CABG (coronary artery bypass graft), Cardiac Valve Repair/Replacement, LVAD (left ventricular device implantation), Aortic repairs, and MAZE.
Cardiac ICU
Patients with MIs, cardiomyopathies and a variety of irregular rhythms, including life-threatening v-fib and v-tach, device designated floor LVAD, IMPELLA, intra-aortic ballon pump, Non post operative side, pre surgical heart intervention patients.
Cardiothoracic ICU
Patients are CTICU, had surgery from their esophagus to diaphragm, open heart surgery, cabbages, valve replacements, active heart failure program (heart is failing and only thing to do for is to add devices) ventricular assist device. Surgical Post Operative area, patients under cardiac umbrella, heart transplants. Under thoracic procedures, lung transplants and lung surgeries. Vascular patient population, specific to vascular procedures with the aorta. CT patient population and Cardiac, Thoracic and Vascular.

Recognizing its excellence in nursing care, Barnes-Jewish Hospital was the first adult hospital in Missouri to be certified as a Magnet Hospital by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Division 2100 is a fast paced high risk cardiology division at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. We care for a variety of cardiology patients including congestive heart failure, left ventricular assist devices, post cardiac device implantation, post EP and Stent procedures. The Staff Nurse (RN) is an integral part of the patient care team using critical thinking skills and clinical expertise to continually assess the patients' status. The Staff Nurse (RN) must be certified in BLS and obtain ACLS certification within 1 year of working on the division.

Performs direct patient care as needed and functions as clinical resource to nursing and support staff. Assesses, plans, evaluates and documents the nursing process of assigned unit as needed.
Responsibilities
Facilitates identification and resolution of gaps in care from hospitalization, at discharge, and into the ambulatory care setting. Critically assess patient data to proactively mitigate impending changes in condition and establishes consults to interprofessional team as appropriate.
Leads the development and implementation of complex individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and the patient, family, or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Plan of care reflects application of expert holistic clinical knowledge and skill to anticipate and prioritize complex care needs, anticipate barriers, incorporating interprofessional team and caregiver/family input, and identifies opportunities to improve patient outcomes.
Actively utilizes and champions scientific inquiry for evidence-based practices (e.g., participates in journal club, facilitates practice change based on new knowledge, recommends new standards of care or revisions to current standards, conduct a literature search to support unit or organizational goals, disseminate new knowledge obtained from relevant conference or continuing education). Explore opportunities to advance nursing practice (e.g., support a community service health event as a representative of the healthcare profession, patient/family education group, community advisory board, member of Ethics Advisory Committee, serve as adjunct faculty, leadership board in specialty organization).
Analyzes gap in practice standards and provides feedback to peers in collaboration with leadership to enhance safe patient care. Leads the evaluation of the patient and family experience, and adjusts care provided to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
