Dr. Stefan Heck is CEO and Founder of Nauto. Prior to Nauto, Dr. Heck was a Consulting Professor at the Precourt Institute for Energy at Stanford University. Previously he was a Senior Partner at McKinsey and co-founded and led the Cleantech and Sustainability practice. Dr. Heck earned a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science from UCSD and a B.S. with honors in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.

Bill has played a vital role in building and managing a number of successful organizations at companies like Swoop and Traffic.com. As EVP/Sales at Traffic.com, his efforts shaped a sales organization that led to the company’s acquisition by NAVTEQ, and, subsequently, Nokia. He is recognized as a leader in emerging media and technology. He is a past member of the Sales Executive Council of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). Additionally, Bill established the Luke Vincent Powers Foundation in memory of his son, Luke. He serves as the Foundation’s President, which supports disadvantaged children.

Most recently, Mr. Chia was Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Grubhub, the nation’s leading online and mobile food ordering and delivery marketplace. During his tenure as COO, Mr. Chia helped significantly grow Grubhub’s restaurant network to more than 95,000 restaurants in 1,700 cities nationwide and was the architect of the rapidly expanding Grubhub Delivery Network. Prior to Grubhub, Mr. Chia led strategic businesses and organizations at Amazon, Cisco and General Electric. He holds a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he holds a seat on the advisory board, and an MBA from Emory University.
