Tutor.com is hiring High Dosage Tutors for high dosage, small group online tutoring sessions with K12 students. This position is a daytime, scheduled hours position perfect for retired and former teachers, substitute teachers, or anyone with algebra subject matter expertise who is looking for a flexible role working from home.
Our convenient online classroom allows tutoring from any computer with a stable, high-speed internet connection. No travel necessary! Tutoring sessions include online tools such as an interactive whiteboard, voice, video, and chat communication, and application sharing. This is a part time role, 25 hours per week.
Major Responsibilities:
* Tutor small groups of students in a remote environment
* Meet with the same group of students up to three times a week at a scheduled time during the regular school day

Part-Time Industrial Electricity Instructor (Evenings) JVS Adult Career Center The JVS Adult Career Center is seeking a skilled part-time Industrial Electrician Instructor to help launch an Industrial Electricity program. This is an exciting opportunity to share your expertise and shape a training initiative designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the electrical field.
Position Details:
* Schedule: 2-3 evenings per week (Estimated 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM)

* Location: JVS Adult Career Center

Qualifications:
* Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience as an Industrial Electrician or in a closely related field
* Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, safety, and troubleshooting
* No teaching degree required - we're looking for someone with a passion for the trade and a desire to teach others
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Willingness to help design and build the new Industrial Electricity program.

* Attend meetings and in-services as required
* Recommend long-term adjustments, changes, additions, and deletions in the career-technical education program

* Oversee the distribution and inventory control of all supplies and equipment used by vocational students
* Maintain membership in and participate in the affairs of professional societies devoted to the advancement of vocational education
* Assist in the recruitment of students
* Establish an advisory committee
* Coordinate the gathering, selecting, and analysis of data with respect to jobs available
