Required Skills and Experience:


Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors Able to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Job Summary



Design, develop and refine the education curriculum through reverse engineering of the role to simplify training and instruction to adult learners
Deliver/facilitate existing or newly developed curriculum during the training period of the apprenticeship program
Provide student mentoring and support throughout the training program and as needed through the one-year apprenticeship adjusting information/support as required per the individual student.
Celebrate the success of the program participants by making learning experience engaging and fun and participating in graduation ceremonies
Partner with the Clinic Operations/Project Management to ensure a successful program, including assisting with the attraction, recruitment, and selection process for program participants
Supervise Market Clinical Admin Supervisors




Primary Responsibilities:




Leads and develops education curriculum for MA apprenticeship program
Delivers educational content in virtual and on-site classroom settings
Supervises market Clinical Admin Supervisors
Provides mentoring and support to the market staff including Clinical Admin Supervisors, MA apprentices and mentors (preceptors) in the clinics

Required Qualifications:




High School diploma and/or equivalent
Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant work experience and education
Experience with the Socratic method of instruction and developing adult learning curriculums
Experience working with diverse communities and across social, economic, and cultural differences
Intermediate technology skills




Preferred Qualifications:




MA, LPN, or RN experience, previous education experience
Previous leadership experience
A mentoring mindset with strong empathetic, interpersonal capabilities to see situations through others' perspectives, build trusting relationships, give feedback, and hold the accountability of others when needed
Critical thinking and resourcefulness
Research/propose possible solutions and make sound judgments for the best outcomes and student success
Ability to establish and maintain a professional, respectful, and effective working relationships

Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Nevada residents is $60,000 to $106,700. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
