The Special Education Coordinator is passionate about supporting the students who are at-risk for academic underperformance due to emotional and/or physical challenges so that they can succeed in the school's rigorous academic program. The Special Education Coordinator holds primary responsibility for providing academic, emotional, and physical services for students who require additional support to thrive within the school's core academic program.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all students receive the educational services that they need to succeed;
Identify incoming students' special education needs as indicated by family questionnaire responses;
Review the results of intake assessments of new students to identify special education needs;
Schedule and providing pull-out services as needed;
Schedule, coordinate, and chair team and pre-referral meetings;
Conduct academic testing as part of the evaluation process;
Coordinate and conducting classroom observations and testing (i.e. psychological) as needed;
Ensure that all regular education teachers know and understand all classroom accommodations required by IEPs;
Deliver one-on-one, small group, and whole class instruction as appropriate;
Maintain student records regarding special education issues and preparing reports for regulatory agencies;
Ensure compliance with all City, State, and Federal special education law and regulations;
Contribute to the design of curriculum materials;
Design and administer rigorous, standards-based assessments and using assessment data to refine curriculum and instruction;
Help to create a culture of order, structure, humanity, and academic rigor in the classroom and school as a whole; and
Collaborate with other teachers, other school staff, and administrators to ensure that all our students climb the mountain to high school and college.

What will you be doing?
Provide product demonstration and education to Healthcare Professionals in a variety of offices and facilities within a defined geographic territory. The Currier Museum of Art seeks a Senior Museum Educator to lead the content development and design of training programs for school and adult tours of the museum collection, special exhibitions, Frank Lloyd Wright houses, and the Chandler House. The candidate will serve as lead museum educator on gallery interpretation in partnership with the Curatorial Department, collaborating, conducting, and managing gallery talks and artist programs to enhance special exhibitions. The Senior Museum Educator will also train and cultivate an established group of volunteer docents, and recruits new docents as necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads docent trainings that provide rich content and encourage active engagement conducive to visitors building a sense of belonging to the museum. Ensures that docents adopt an investigative approach to looking at art when interacting with visitors to the museum's collections and exhibitions. 3. Recruits, selects, trains, and evaluates docents involved in the operation of the tour programs. Assesses visitor learning and experiences on tours; evaluates results to ensure docent training meets docent and visitor needs and institutional objectives.
4. Collaborates with the Director of Art Education in the development of evaluation tools for all tour and adult programs.
5. Meets regularly with Curatorial staff and participates in interdepartmental discussions to align and enhance visitor experiences with special exhibition goals. Develops related interpretive and educational materials and spaces; develops necessary evaluation tools for galleries and special exhibitions.
6. Oversees the planning and implementation of the Discovery Gallery, interpreting the permanent collection and special exhibitions.
7. Collaborates with Curatorial Department to conduct special exhibition and collection walkthroughs for all volunteers and staff, and to plan and manage other gallery talks and artist programs for visitors.
8. Collaborates in designing and conducting educator workshops and other educator professional development programs. Participates with the Educator Advisory Council to ensure that school and educator programs align with school curriculum and up-to-date methodologies in skill-building.

General Statement of Duties:
Under the leadership of the Program Manager, Family Educator is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of all family engagement activities including, but not limited to outreach, recruitment, and retention of Worcester parents and caregivers. Candidate must be a supportive, willing, positive, and energetic participant in the implementation of the outcome measurement system.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement family engagement outreach, programs and activities for the school year, specific to Problem Gambling Prevention.
2. Publicizes family engagement activities and events using newsletter, website, social media, etc.
3. Attend weekly meetings to discuss program operations and activities.
4. Participate and assist in the implementation of training opportunities.
5. Assure the collection of all data including participant demographic attendance and assessments.
6. Encourages parents to participate in school activities such as back-to-school nights.

Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, (CNO) the Clinical Educator supports and drives practice transformation initiatives that align with GLFHCs strategic pillars and the nursing division strategic plan, including building out critical components of ambulatory care nursing practice such as telehealth, care coordination, and transition management, patient-centered medical home (PCMH) care, and population management The Clinical Educator is a professional development specialist within Nursing and clinical support / Medical Assistants (MA) services at GLFHC. As a Clinical Educator, the primary responsibilities are to identify professional development needs, develop a training program, facilitate training sessions, and conduct in-service sessions for nursing and clinical support staff. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing and in collaboration with the VP of Workforce Development, supports leadership development and other relevant trainings to support the leadership development of nurse managers, charge nurses, and MA supervisors. In addition to fulfilling these responsibilities, the Clinical Educator serves as a mentor to Nurses and Medical Assistants who want to grow in their careers. The Clinical Educator collaborates with the nursing leadership team and other Clinician stakeholders to ensure competencies for nursing and MAs align with accepted scopes of practice as governed by industry standards, evidence based frameworks, and regulatory guidelines. Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:
Assess, plans, implements and evaluates training and competency development initiatives that align with the populations served and learning gaps identified.
Sets forth an annual plan to support safe and high quality patient care, including, identifying training programs needed based on ongoing skills assessment, regulatory, (HRSA, Joint Commission, DPH, Mass Health contracts, etc.) requirements, and new program development initiatives.

Qualifications:
Experience
Minimum 5-7 years practicing in acute care, ambulatory care, health center, other settings that care for complex high risk chronic populations.
