Elevate complaints to management when necessary At the end of shift/service, complete the following: Process all guest checks Allocate pooled gratuities to the Gratuity Report Clean and reset the dining room Complete all closing side work Continuously educate yourself on new Lewis wine releases, as well as viticulture and winemaking technique Attend all monthly and weekly Tasting Room meetings Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required 2 years of retail sales experience preferred Must possess a passion for wine and the wine industry Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and evening shifts A thorough understanding of wine and food pairings, including origins, preparation/production methods, and the ability to explain why certain wines pair well with set food items Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills High school diploma or equivalent is a plus Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 an hour, and will be included in the tip pool.
