Develops appropriate goals and provides direct therapeutic intervention strategies integrated with family routines.
Conducts parent training including modeling, teaching, and coaching play-based techniques.

Provides service coordination to families in accordance with Part C of IDEA and documents in chart.

Facilitates linkages and/or assists individual and family directly with locating, developing or obtaining services and supports in the community.

• Perform assigned duties related to the learning process
• Monitor and assist students under the direction/supervision of the special education teacher, classroom teacher, or building administrator

Attends on-going educational opportunities that support best-practice initiatives and provides summary presentations to applicable groups within the organization.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Minimum education level - Bachelor`s Degree in Nursing.
Master`s Degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of three years as a Registered Nurse in a care setting applicable to the service or initiative.
Demonstrated experience in nursing staff development or nursing leadership with knowledge of nursing staff development theory or principles of adult education required.

Required License/Certifications:
Specialty Certification, preferred.
American Heart Association HealthCare Provider BLS
