JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Educator will provide support to Acute Care and the Education Resource Center. Under limited supervision, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates education programs based upon adult learning principles. Works collaboratively with nursing leadership and nursing staff to support nursing professional development and competency. Educator lends expertise to elevate nursing practice in service line and hospital-wide initiatives.
*This is a Part-Time position that will be scheduled for 24 hours a week.*
REQUIREMENTS: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline. Bachelor's in Nursing required, Master's required or enrollment in a Master's program within 2 years of hire. The Opportunity
Bridges is seeking soon-to-be college graduates or professionals early in their careers for our Elementary/Middle School Public Service Fellowship. We are seeking candidates who are interested in spending two years leading Bridges' core programs with elementary and middle school students and families. This work includes facilitating a five-week summer program, an afterschool program with elementary school students and high school aged volunteers, and a middle school enrichment program.
The Bridges Public Service Fellowship is designed to jumpstart a career in human or social services and/or clarify career aspirations in education, counseling, public policy, and non-profit management. During the entirety of the fellowship, the holder of the role will be mentored by a Site Director who is a veteran educator.
Public Service Fellows (PSF) will take a lead role in executing high-quality programs for Baltimore City students ages 9-14, as well as high school aged volunteers. Key responsibilities will include:
Summer Institute: The PSF assists the Site Director in the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Bridges Summer Institute, a five-week education and enrichment program for Bridges' rising 4

grade students. Over the summer, the PSF is primarily responsible for managing a team of head counselors and high school volunteers, as well as leading assemblies and large events for the program.
School Year Programs: During the school year, the PSF will:
Direct the after-school program for fourth and fifth grade students, and recruit and train high school volunteers at the host school where they are placed. This involves writing curriculum, facilitating sessions, training volunteers, and driving the bus for student pickup and drop-off.
Assist with planning, executing, and evaluating weekend enrichment programs for sixth through eighth grade students. This involves communicating with students and families, facilitating sessions, and managing students at weekend events. Fellows will be required to be on-site for weekend enrichment one Saturday per month for 3.5 hours, September through May.
Communications: The PSF is a part of the Bridges News Team and will be responsible for capturing photos, videos, and stories for Bridges' marketing and communications via social media and newsletter.
Ideal Candidates
Have an undergraduate degree (or an anticipated college graduation date of Spring 2026) with a record of academic success.
Have experience and/or interest in working with youth between the ages of 8 and 18 and success in at least one post-high school leadership role. (Candidates with experience as a volunteer or student in Bridges are also encouraged to apply.)

Hiring and Compensation: PSFs will be hired and employed by the school at which they are placed (see “Location” below). The salary for the first year (12 months) of this full-time role at each site is $45,000. The PSF will also have access to a full benefits package provided by the school employer (medical, dental, and vision insurance; retirement plan; paid time off; etc.).
Start Date and Commitment Window: The fellowship is a 2-year, 2-month role that is set to begin in June 2025 and conclude at the end of July/beginning of August 2027 (depending on Summer 2027 program schedule).
Supervision: This role reports to the Site Director at one of three host school sites and will receive regular supervision and mentorship.
Location: PSFs will be placed at one of three Bridges program sites, including Bridges at Gilman School (Baltimore, MD), Bridges at The Bryn Mawr School (Baltimore, MD), and Bridges at McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD).

SUMMARY
Under the leadership of the Assistant Principal and the Director of Academics the Teacher is to work with and teach middle and/or high school students to ensure their success in a college preparatory program. The Teacher provides effective instruction and support in curricular areas for which employed; utilizes various instructional resources and technologies; demonstrates knowledge of the teaching/learning process; develops and modifies instructional plans and materials to meet the needs of a diverse student population; maintains contact and communication with parents and Student Life staff; and works effectively with administrators, colleagues, and all members of the school community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate in a strong team environment to:
Establish and maintain an engaging middle and/or high school learning environment conducive to student success
Promote and support a middle and/or high school program with promotion based upon standards mastery
Communicate knowledge in an interesting, stimulating, and effective manner, using a variety of instructional methodologies, curriculum resources, and materials
Examine student assessment data to guide and improve instruction
Promote high levels of learning in an engaging and effective manner using a variety of instructional methodologies, curriculum resources, and materials
Integrate literacy strategies into the instructional framework
Differentiate instruction to reach all learners
Plan, organize, and deliver appropriate lessons for assigned area(s) of responsibility, and submit lesson plans to the Principal on an as requested basis
Collaborate with coworkers on planning, professional development, standards-based curriculum, and common assessment design to contribute to the continuous improvement of instruction at the school
Assess students' learning in a professional manner and communicate students' progress to parents and fellow teachers to facilitate future instruction.
Identify special needs of students and seek additional support, as needed
Maintain and submit necessary records, progress reports, and grade reports
Participate in faculty meetings, workshops, staff development programs, and other school sponsored activities
Participate in summer programming which may include direct service to incoming and returning SEED youth and curriculum work with colleagues
Assist in general building supervision and discipline of students outside of the classroom
Adhere to the professional and ethical standards as outlined in the SEED Staff Manual
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors' degree in related field is required
Master's in related field and/or prior teaching experience highly desired.
Active teaching certificate (grades 6-12) in Math is required
Special Education certification is a plus

Job Description
Ensures that Central Sterile Processing (CSP) technicians at UMMC are properly trained and operating within the guidelines set forth by various industry standards and regulations including, but not limited to, IAHCSMM, CBCSP, AORN, The Joint Commission, FDA, CDC, OSHA, and AAMI. Performs various other training duties related to instrument processing as necessary. Includes alternate facility sites as needed in order to conduct training, including clinic areas.
Principal Responsibilities and Tasks

Qualifications
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Associate degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience as OR Nurse, surgical technologist, Central Sterile technician, or other related technical role for sterile processing required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Certified in related field or the ability to become certified within 12 months of hire required. Must also obtain and maintain additional certification in CSP sub- specialty, IAHCSMM or CBCSP certification acceptable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of computers with intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications; ability to learn additional software as required
Extensive knowledge of Operating Room, medical instruments and O.R. procedures. Ability to interact and teach various levels of learners
Ability to work independently with both co-workers and subordinates to solve problems utilizing common sense and good judgement
Attends annual educational conferences relating to sterile processing in order to stay current with industry standards
Working knowledge of instrument tracking systems.

The College Park Aviation Museum shares its campus with the world's oldest continuously operating airport, established by the Wright Brothers in 1909, and home to the first US Army aviation school. We are dedicated to preserving aviation innovations in College Park and Prince George's County. We engage and inspire our community and visitors with diverse stories through education, exhibits, and programming.
The Bilingual Museum Educator will be responsible for designing and delivering educational tours to students and adults, planning and implementing educational programs, creating engaging educational activities, and creating lesson plans in support of regular STEAM events. Each year CPAM offers educational tours to over 12,000 visitors, and reach hundreds more through monthly STEAM events, our biannual Scout Days and Homeschool Days, and our annual holiday event, Winter Fly-In. About 17% of Prince George's County residents speak Spanish, so this Educator will be essential in helping to make the museum more accessible and impactful for our community. Museum Educators may have the opportunity to create educational programs, organize events, or work on collections projects depending on the aptitude and interests of the Educator and the needs of the museum.
This position is open to rising juniors or seniors in high schooland college students.
