You Will Help Our Youth Thrive By: Providing direct clinical work and/or therapeutic services to clients and families as measured by supervision and/or direct observation. Providing one-on-one support and behavioral interventions to clients and/or their families. Planning and implementing individual and group activities that encourage the clients social and emotional growth. Providing case management support to clients and their families, connecting with community resources to support the clients needs. Complying with productivity standards of the Villages of California and maintaining an appropriate caseload. Submitting timely documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, notes to chart) as outlined in policy. Continually assessing the needs and symptoms of clients and families formulating a psychosocial diagnosis, gathering history, and determining the most appropriate method(s) of providing treatment/Evidence-Based Practice (individual, family, group, case management, outreach, etc.). Continually assessing client progress and modifying treatment via completion and submission of outcome measures. Accurately documenting all work with the client and/or family and/or relevant persons as measured by QA standards and peer review audit results. Participating in clinical/case supervision by being prepared to discuss current caseload, documentation, and productivity; accepting constructive feedback and direction; and putting feedback into clinical and/or therapeutic practice with clients. Establishing and maintaining rapport and effective working relationships with clients, families, and community; working effectively within the Villages of California, school/district partners and community at large. Maintaining knowledge of program standards and policies as developed by Villages of California, the Board of Behavioral Sciences and other governing bodies; develops personal and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in in-service programs. Maintaining overall confidentiality information regarding clients, families, and operations of the Villages of California (including media). Maintaining a professional relationship with clients, staff, and other outside stakeholders at all times. Attending all required staff training sessions in accordance with Villages of California and state licensing requirements, and completing all training on time. Attending and participating in program and all staff meetings. What You'll Need To Be Successful In This Role: Enrolled in a Master's program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field. Experience Mental Health preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Must maintain a valid California Drivers' License, have proof of automobile insurance and maintain a safe driving record based on Villages of California policy. Proficiency in MS Office systems and ability to utilize an electronic medical record. Ability to establish and consistently enforce appropriate boundaries with patients. Understanding of adult/adolescent development and family systems.
