We are seeking a Simulation Educator to:
Partner with clients to develop curriculum, including goals, learning objectives, case scenarios, program planning, assessment tools and other resources for clinical departments and other groups utilizing the Simulation Center.
Lead event and scenario planning meetings to provide best practice simulation based and event expertise consistent with capabilities and limitations of the Simulation Center Staff, equipment and facilities to meet Simulationist's needs.
Participate in running simulation events and scenarios as appropriate.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Actively engage and educate consumers at the point of experience, purchase and consumption

Organization Overview: The students who visit House in the Wood Outdoor Education Center refine their essential life and social skills in a safe outdoor environment. As a residential Outdoor Education center, we are able to provide a complete outdoor experience for inner-city students.
Job Summary: Educators teach multiple nature-related lessons (indoors and outdoors) to groups of 10 to 15 third through eighth-grade students. Lessons use our marsh, lake, forest, lawn, and Outdoor Education Center. They also implement our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) practice while supervising students. This position provides on-site housing.
Key Responsibilities
Teach outdoor environmental lessons to trail groups of 10 to 15 students between third and eighth grades.
Follow lesson plans as described in training.
Complete onsite training
Teach up to eight hours of outdoor lessons for three days.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Outgoing Brand Knowledge and Personification of the Brand - BE must complete training in order to understand what the brand/program represents, stands for and how it differs from other brands. BE must be able to translate brand information to consumers in a relatable manner.

What You'll Do
Support classrooms across the school with daily lessons, activities, and supervision
Engage students in 1:1 and small-group learning to build academic and social skills
Assist with behavioral support using trauma-informed and approved de-escalation techniques

Support sensory breaks, transitions, specials, and unstructured times
Document student progress, behavior data, and required reports
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide consistent care

What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
Eligible for WI DPI Instructional Aide / Special Education Aide license
Experience working with students with disabilities is helpful but not required
